McVee you are right!!! A macaroon is a coconut cookie!!! What you are eating is a macaron which is a cookie consisting of ganache or buttercream filling between two halves made from beaten egg whites mixed with sugar and ground almonds😋 Your not crazy🤣 Love you guys💕🥳🎉

You are VERY correct!!! I am professional Pastry Chef and it annoys the crap out of me when people pronounce it improperly because they are two completely different pastries that have totally different ingredients and baked differently. Jannell is VERY correct, also. YUMMY!!!
If you read the comments and some of the other videos, there are so many people that will jump all over them and say things like “it’s macaROON, you’re pronouncing it wrong!” But then when somebody else explains the difference, they just go completely silent. It’s hilarious.

Macaron is what you're eating in this video. They're made mostly as discs and are allowed to rest before they're baked. Afterwards, they're sandwiched with some sort of filling. Macaroons are similar in basic ingredients (but not in method) and they're a completely different shape, usually a ball, and almost always have coconut.

Sizzlers along with El Torito, failed here in Phoenix decades ago. But you can still find 1 or 2 sizzlers around. The same thing happened wit Islands restaurants. I think there's only one left, if I'm not mistaken.
