MI will always be MI every cypher he addresses a topic..He doesnt just rap lines, he addresses issues with rap!!
🤣🤣🤣
M.I and VECTOR brought this idea of bringing different rappers in different continent to Hennessy and it really works that's the power of unity and all rapper's did perfectly well 💯 big love to Africa💚
Tell us where you got this info from
Seems you know more😂
Different African countries you mean? They are all Africans.
there is country in west Africa that thinks it controls Africa music..... Let me not continue
@@dorrtay Yeah for Real 👍
As a Naija boy, M.I and Vector did represent us, but a moment of silence for the bars coming from M.anifest, he kept on dropping bars after bars till he finished, dats pure lyrical molestation as far as I am concerned
Mehn crazy 🤣🤣🤣
I swear no be lie
Ghanaians always stand out tf 😩😂🤣😂😅
Manifest took this one.... He had the best delivery, flow and his lyrics were off the roof.
The Wesley bar was a continuation of the blade line which referenced Wesley Snipes, the actor who played Blade. Obalende is a place in Lagos State that The Wesley Methodist Church is located.
Then he said cut/blade
And the refrence was actually to the methodist boys school in Obalende........his alma mata
MVP for me is M.anifest. Man’s so smooth with the flows and his cadence is top notch.
All the MCs came through with incredibly mad bars... "what's the point in making sense to a dummy, who believes the rule advances in money " this definitely must be Vector's reply to Wizkid...
Great Cypher, the MCs are dope, they all did justice to the beat... Wld luv to see Lyricl joe on this joint
Manifest once again didn't disappoint... He is the MVP for me
M.Anifest to me has always been slept on in Ghana. 🇬🇭 He's their best MC...not that other one.
🤣just mention his name
So what will you say of lyrical joe man
@@spenceretim9744 I have nothing to say about Lyrical Joe. Except he has a lot to learn.
😂😂😂😂😂
💀💀💀👌🏽
The fact that you most of the time need someone with inside knowledge to understand Vector's word play is where the genius lies. Vectors lines could mean a lot of things based on the context from which you understand it. Great stuff from everyone
This is my first introduction to Vector and he's amazing. Honestly we're blessed in Africa with brilliant MCs.
M.anifest is easily the MVP here. Ghana is sleeping on him but I like the fact that he is appreciated more in Nigeria, SA and Kenya which are strong hip hop households. I think you reacted to wrong track(No Fear) after reacting to him and Proverbs which had low sound quality even though it sounded better on the MTTU album. I was hoping you reacted to godmc, No long talk, BEAR, Azumah Nelson Flow, his freestyle on Tim Westhood etc but it's not your fault because you don't know his catalog and it was his latest release back then. Big ups to the other Rappers they all brought their best but M.anifest proves why he is the best lyrically on the continent.
We love manifest in Nigeria, he's a poetic legend
Yup...been saying for years that Ghana is sleeping on M.Anifest.
Thanks for listening to him.
Vector will always drop a Lagos only line any chance he gets, Vector will always give shoutout to the street he grew up....... Obalande is an area in Lagos where the popular Dodan Barracks is, Vec is from a Military family.
Baba Voss is a character played by Jason Mamoa in the "SEE" TV Series. And he's blind but can fight like he isn't. The references are SEE and Baba Voss
Love the reaction on your face, thanks for showcasing African talent😍😍
Honestly manifest did justice to this cypher 🔥 and as expected MI came through, then you have Vec with the word play, A Reece with the style and sleek flows and finally octopizo with the Swahili/English switches which was good for the beat...
Shout to all the MCs and shout-out to you Steve, I appreciate your work 🔥🔥
You are correct...Baba Voss was the character in the movie series "See" where they have a world of blind people
My Inner Self was talking to my Sinner Self cos way before the last Obstacle I was my Winner Self.
-Vec
As a Nigerian...
A moment of silence 4 this beat.. cuz dey all murdered each flows and beat till the end🤧💯🔥
Respect to you for showing love to Reece. You are one of the realest reactors I follow. Love your content🙌🏽
U talk two much
@@kingbarry2573 what’s wrong with what he said? Better go back to school and learn how to spell..
MI's multisyllabic rhyme scheme. That's an advanced rap technique.... Master piece/ Pastor preach/ master (inaudible) speech/ afro beats. It's one of the reasons why I like Em. Having said that EMs own is more advanced and much more complex with so many internal rhyme schemes. All the same,.I think MI's stuff was good.
Cool MCees overall
What you've pointed out is just two-syllable rhymes which is quite basic generally. MI did much more than that on his verse, he had many internal rhymes before the end rhymes. His delivery was top notch.
I'm noticing how Vec is morphing back to the old vec. That version is freaking lethal
I really f*CK with the stage set up for the Cypher; shout outs and kudos to HENNESSY. The beat regardless was f*cking dope.
He's from Kenya!! In kenya we speak Swahili. We also have a slang called sheng' which is a street language and thats what octopizzo is using in this video. Sheng' is not pure swahili that's why even if you understand swahili and you're not Kenyan, it will be hard to understand sheng'. Octopizzo's goal is to take the sheng' language international.
Baba voss is the name of a character in the series “SEE”. A blind warrior and warlord hence the line “I don’t need sight to fight, I’m baba voss
I agree with manifest being the MVP he was Dope🔥.... Vector killed it he had a lot of good Lines, The BABA VOSS line was referring to the series SEE a blind man so good at fighting, That was my favorite bar on the cypher
Good reaction Steve
M.anifest MVP. Ive always been an M.I fan. Let’s see more of this in the future. Hopefully an African vrs American hiphop cypher
Octopizzo brought ORIGINALITY to the table 🔥
What's original about what he did
Home language...you're being biased by judging with what you hear n understand Octoppizzo is good@@ihunnawisdom2376
My MVP is Manifest. He is sleek on his flow, philosophical and motivational. This Cypher is dope, every rapper did justice to it😊 I am loving it. Nice reaction Steve ❤
The goat verse from M.I is sick and hilarious
Mi & Vector did it for me, Thank you for supporting NG African rappers #GSgang.
Vectors translation - He called a place in Lagos Nigeria b4 saying google that ..."Obalende Google that"
Obalende is a busy popular place in Lagos Nigeria 🤗
Despite the fact that they all came through M.anifest is definitely the MVP
M. anifest🇬🇭 took MVP for me hands down 🙌🙌
Ps. Yo I love your reaction too nice ( funny)❤
ProVerb and M.anifest they have another pensick track goes by "Tomorrow might never come". You need to check it out.
My MVP is Manifest, VEC and MI spazzed as usual. I feel Octopizzo ain’t getting flowers mostly because most of us don’t understand what he’s saying. But he’s literally one of the craziest from Kenya,
Actually, it's because he can't rap in fluent English, but in this cypher his bars are ahead of everyone. His word play in this video is crazy 🔥
Octos punchlines are hard if you understand it
Octos punchlines are hard if you understand it
"Know yourself and respect that" Vector.
Manifest is dope 🔥🙌The flow was insane
Great MI touched on the wizkid comment about raps
Vector was my MVP, the name of the movie is "See" baba voss is a warrior that is blind but is one of the best fighter in the land. Vector. I do not need sight to see you,im baba voss
Damn. M.anifest is so dope 🔥🔥🔥
They all did well anyway …. Thanks for always supporting the culture Steve… have a blessed holiday🎄
You as well family!
M.anifest grandad was a composer, professor and ethnomusicologist. M.anifest himself holds a degree in economics. Always expect the very best from him
The "baba voss" is a character played by Jason mamoa on the hit series "SEE". which is based on a far future world where people had lost their sight and the very few that were born with sight were considered witches.
That line was a reference to how great a warrior baba was that he would defeat a sighted person in combat like he wasn't disadvantaged...
Manifest is the MVP. You got this right.
My MVP is M.anifest... Wordplays bold and brazen.. There was clarity and presence... He's got Quotables
Tho I'm a die hard Vector fan,I get mad at you sometimes when you criticize him in your reactions.Lol😂,Buh truly Manifest takes the MVP for this one... First time hearing him,Man is fire🔥... Vector came second 🥈💯✅
Vector's line "I don't need sight to fight,I'm Baba Voss" is a reference to a character played by Jason Momoa in the series SEE where everyone in the whole world was blind and Baba Voss was a crazy ass fighter even without his sight.
Someone above already explained the Wesley Church & Obalende line😁
Nice Reaction Steve👍❤️
All the rappers killed it.... Manifest probably the MVP for me
watching this again m.anifest might be my fave
This is the 2010 vector,
The obalende reference is actually dope.
First Artist is Octopizzo reppin' Africa Kenya Kibera Namba Nane .Down here we call him Octo.Upendo kwote #NUAfrica. Big UP steveBussaGs for the reaction .
Manifest Big up u nailed it 🔥
I Lost it when M.anifest said "Spare me the flowers, i even get allergies"
M.anifest never disappoints 👏🏿👏🏿
Really enjoyed This Cypher! My favourite Henny Cypher so far
MVP!?!
I am honestly still confused 😂
At some point i said vector, then M after watching this reaction i am thinking manifest 😂 😂 😂
Sounds like a good problem to have lol
@@SteveBussaGS i will watch one last time and make my final decision 😂😂😂😂😂
2021 cypher was harder than this
Hennessey is a blessing to the game of Hip-hop in Africa 🔥🔥🔥🔥

The MVP for me is Vec, my reason is simple, his rhyme scheme, witty bars, cadence, his flow wasn't monotonous as he went in and outta pocket. They all did great, ngl. But Steve, Stogie T would do damage to this beat
Talkkkkkkk!!!
Damn, i was kinda mad that Stogie-T wasn't on this cypher 😲
I have reason to believe we gonna get a good amount of work from the god 2023 👀👀 y'all run his freestyle on SpeekA up tho!
This beat is for stogie T for sure.
We need him in the next one.
Steve you don't always give Vector his credit because you don't always understand some of his lyrics but here, Vector is the real MVP
You get it bro. Not everyone will understand vector lines. It’s way above the regular.
@@Nollywood_Stars_Galleries vector said it already. what’s the point of making sense to a dummy.
'Did he dethrone M.anifest for the MVP? No he did not! Let's go my guy' 🤣😆 love it
Vector MVP 🥃
Manifest and MI at par 🔥
Sincerely i miss Jesse Jagz on this Cypher.
I felt Jesse Jagz vibes on A Reece's first lines.
Good one guys and thanks to Hennessy.
Nice reactions as usual from SteveBussaGS
Sincerely, you have said it all!!!! I really miss that dude In rap. He’s very original
When I listen to a reece lines before I watch the video. I though na jags
@@dj_satrix You got the gist.
It's MI , Manifest, Vector , Areece and then Octopizo 4 me.....but this cypher is crazy Steve I love it
Nice job Hennessy 💥💥 Mi will be Mi King Juda forever ✨King✨ love all the rappers ✨
This is how it goes;
Manifest gave us the most quotable ..so MVP
MI though came with the goat energy for sure
Vector, forever in his lane, originality and bars
A. Reece also gave a couple quotables
Octo is probably slept on because of the language switch. Candence was on point.
Lets say it this way.
Manifest wrote from a "Cypher mode" state of mind. So perfect for the occasion.
MI and Vector are already Goated. They weren't trying to prove a point so focus was on their message/philosophy.
You said everything!!
Perfectly said 👏👏❤
Jason Mamoa was Baba Voss in the series 'See'. The same series began with the story that over the years all humans had lost the ability of sight.
Vector said something about him being able to fight without sight like Baba Voss.
Yeaaaa. That bar went over their head 😭😭🔥🔥
Obalande was where Vector grew up in Lagos Nigeria and he is really repp' the place well.
You're great bro.....youve been a blessing to African Hiphop
🙏🙏 just a fan bro
Areece is king, like his enemies breaking down his lines while he's sitting smoking weed
Am a Nigerian.Manifest to me is Ghana powerhouse of rap
Factos
Where do you keep Sarkodie then? Please you know nothing about Rapp.. The lines are quite good but they are weak compared to other guys who did massacre on their punchlines and lines..
@@mcwisdom9440lmfaooo manifest ate every rapper up in this cypher, don't be silly🤣
@@mcwisdom9440mfaooo manifest ate every rapper up in this cypher, don't be sill sark no reach🤣
@@brianleh3667 my brother I concur... Having gone back and verified again. I had to admit. He was exceptional.. You are right bro.
I'm here for the rap, but your commentaries be having me in stitches 😂😂😂. E for Energy!!
The GOAT bleat line cracked me up M.I...
Manifest, AReece, MI, Vector then Octopizzo in that order
😂😂 said "I know yal heard the bar", then they went; nah put him on a pedestal 😂🤣
I’m the last on the cross, the thought of heightened me is where the rapper loss.
VEC
That end was a swipe at Wizkid , for rating the rap artist in Nigeria as broke… good way to end the cypher
Yes, that's to reply Wiz
Vector slayed everyone 🐐
I don't understand Octopizzo's language but he's lit🔥buh Manifest killed it 💥💥🔥🔥
Ghana got the best rappers
I’m kinda happy you’re getting into Vector brilliance with his word play and style. Tho I think you miss most of his references in your reactions to his songs. Can you please react to vector’s ‘popular’, ‘wasted’, and ‘the police’( should in case you do this one, note that the word ‘my padi’ in the third verse means ‘my friend, nigga or buddy. So it helps with the context). also if you have time, react to ‘define rap’ Vec and MI were on that track and maybe react to ‘what it do’ by laylow ( Vec and other brilliant rappers were on that) if you do all these reactions( you can make it all one video) you’ll rate him higher and I’ll be at peace lol! Happy holidays!
Wasted.
Mary Jane
My man MI has done it again. Manifest, shout out to him please.
This a presidential flow to make your Boohari (Buhari) the president of Nigeria ....Manifest is a mad lyricist.
The name of the Baba Voss show is 'See'. It's one where the entire world goes blind in a post apocaliptic future.
Baba Voss bar was str8 🔥
My Sickest Bars here are:
1. Manifest - "Everyword I breathe, it feels like "Dracarys"(from GOT, the word said to the dragons to spit fire)". Damn!
2. Manifest - "These are presidential flows to make your BOO HURRY(BUHARI, at this time is Nigerian president)". Sick!
3. Manifest - "When I say eff 'em(i.e fvck them and also saying radio FM) I no dey talk bandwidth. Very few emcee that I could be in a band with(in organisations, bands are like cadre or levels, while he was still playing with the bandwidth scheme)
4. Vector - "If I'm coming at you right, then I'm coming at you right(As a gangster should), My believe is in the light, I'll be suning(son-ing i.e you're my son and at the same time he is saying shinning like the sun) at you right".
5. Vector - "I'm the last one to cross. The thought of heighting me is where the rapper lost"(Hmm, is this a subtle M.I diss? M.I calls himself the "short black boy". Just saying)
6. Vector - " I don't need sight to fight, I'm Babavoss( From the movie SEE)
7. M.I - "Even when I chock, meeeh I'm still the GOAT".
8. M.I - "Since I was a child I knew my Destiny(Destiny's Child)"
Dracarys *
Since I understand Swahili... Octopizzo takes it...the bars, Wordplays and SWAG...🔥🔥🇰🇪🇰🇪
Interpret bro
Translation please cos I feel he deserves more credit
For reaaaaaaalllll.
Octo came in haaaarrrrrd.
He's a monster.
I pity they who don't understand Swahili/Sheng.
@@corneliusgachugi5725 translate!!!...
Before the cut Vector mentioned, he mentioned “Obalende” a wild metropolitan city in Lagos Nigeria known for breeding woke men that can survive anything in the wild world, so he takes so much pride mentioning his roots. I think M.I stood out though….and I think the reason you didn’t pick M.I Steeve is cos you already placed him in another strata such that anything he does brilliantly comes as a norm to you.
Thanks for the clarification and I totally agree with you on M.I being the MVP. Manifest was second. A.Q and Stogie T. would have done really good too.
Thank you. I totally agree with you on Steve's disposition towards MI. 💯
It's very clear!!
Normally MI Abaga is the solid MVVP any day in the universe.
The rest try sha 🙂
@Larry Vincent, are you from Lagos Island or it's environs? Your last name caught my attention
@@thealchemist6355 Yes, I am.
Vec was MVP on this one for me!
OCTOPIZZO KILLED IT
Yeah so I have Vec, Manifest, MI, A Reece and the Kenyan guy, that's my pick. Always a pleasure to hear your takes on this things. Just here to quickly drop my pick before I hear yours at the end of the video.
Let's go #GSgang
Baba Voss is the main character played by Jason Momoa in a action/fiction series called See.
That was a craaaazy bar.
It's setup in a post apocalyptic world where everyone is blind.
Glad you caught that.
One of the best reactions I watched . Thanks for the Xmas gift Steve .
These are all great rappers, but for me it's Vec, Manifest, Reece, MI and Octopizzo, Octopizzo is cool and has a great flow but due to the language barrier, I didn't understand some things he said, VEC came beast mode
1st - Vector
2nd - Manifest
3rd - MI
4th- The Kenyan guy
5th - A-Reece
My take.
'I don't need sight to fight I'm Baba Voss'
the name of the show is SEE... it's a show about everybody o earth becoming blind and Baba Voss was the protagonist on the series
Merry christmas my guy ♥️🌹🇳🇬
Same to you and yours!
Was waiting for this. Manifest nd vector got a split
M.I started preaching.. Massive attack for rappers not staking like Afro beats!!!!!! Wizkid sub..
Mad cyphe🔥🔥🔥 Great reaction as always Steve ❤️ MVP??? Vec. And manifest for me. Love both of em. #GSGang #LetsGO
You are 💯%... M.anifest is the MVP.... no cap.
All the mc's came through. They all did there thing!!
Great reaction as always, Steve.
Always appreciate you tapping in family 🤞🥂 hope everything is solid on your side!
Whatsup Boogey!
