That rig your makeing is called a high low fishing or patonosta rig there are a lot of different ways to tie that same rig you just made you could use the dropper loop style or the t knot style or you could simply make two loops about one foot apart with a swivel to the top an a sinker on the bottom what you know showed us there is for more professionals somthing like that is going to be difficult for beginners is only because I am kinda a professional an have experience an very versed at what I do is the reason I am commenting on this vid an great job by the way that's a awesome rig too

In mauritius we use it... You can attach directly to a pvc tube or a plastic bottle

Thanks for commenting , I started that way, but with the pvc pipe or bottle you tend to throw both the line and the spool with the momentum ( sometimes ) ! But the yo-yo you have a better grip 🤪

You can use anything ! Even you can use lures , but hard work 😓 ! You have to throw and retrieve continuously until you get lucky and get a strike !! In some parts of the world specially by the tribal community, this method has been used !! Tight lines 👌
