what i notice about MJ is that is intensity is always 100% hes always hustling, always making plays. hes very active and fast thinking/reflexes. its just another great thing he does..
Bulls were in a commanding 92-82 lead when Drexler was fouled out in the 4th quarter and were poised to finish the Blazers off. Then they lost their discipline, pressed the self-destruct button when MJ received a technical foul for arguing with the official. That ignited the Blazers as they mounted a 15-5 run send the game into OT. Danny Ainge, a veteran who won 2 titles with Boston and was a member of that legendary 86 Celtics team, led the Blazers run, finishing with 17 points off the bench, scoring 9 in the OT to lead the Blazers to a comeback 115-104 win to even the series at 1-1.
Danny ainge was a really good athlete early in his Celtic career not to mention he’s one of the greatest overall athletes we have ever seen. Guy had the option of going pro in 3 major sports basketball baseball football. Was a all American in all the sports and a top recruit in each sport guy was a great athlete
mike had a chance to win this game on the buzzer , i didn't know that , had this of been 96-98 jordan that mid range shot would have gone straight in ,no doubt
The NBA didn't really have a lot of super-athletic players back in the 80's and 90's...Some if the shit that Jordan, Pippen, and Drexler were doing back then was absolutely mind blowing.
What? They had tons of insane athletes. This game had 3 guys who had over 40 inch verticals and danny ainge who is no question one of the greatest athletes to ever live. Guy could have went pro in baseball basketball and football . Was an all american in all 3. Not to mention in 92 the avg height was 2 inches taller than avg height today and thet still had the exact same avg vertical leap. 28 inches same as today. The 90s n 80s had freak athletes. 8 of the top 10 verticals in nba history done by bleacher report are guys who played in eaither 80s or 90s or both
@@rafikz77 No. Not true, and your the one not being honest if you believe that. Less and less people even care about the NBA today so that should kind of indicate where the game has gone.
the 1997 heat weren't as elite as the 1992 blazers yeah the bulls beat the heat 84-77 in game 1 of the 1997 conference finals and beat the blazers 122-89 in game 1 of the 1992 finals but most importantly they beat the heat 4-1 and blazers 4-2
0:49 The dunk of drexler wooooooo! That was nasty!
I had to rewind and watch that dunk over again about 6 times. That was filthy.
The steal first by kersay and then drexler did he thing lmao
He did some amazing dunks in his career with the blazers.
@@ObiWanGinobiliTopFan on VHS
He just casually destroyed him at the rim 😂
The playoff games at Chicago Stadium was insane and wild.

5:15 this set up by Clyde was vicious - from the toolbox of Elgin Baylor/WiltChamberlain
Kevin Duckworth shooting with only one hand.
RIP Jerom Kersey, Kevn Duckworth, and Clifford Robinson
Died way too young RIP
I agree
Can you imagine if the blazers got Michael Jordan instead of Sam bowie, Clyde the glide and Air Jordan would have been teammates.
Who would play the 3?
@@HeathOverledgerGlide
My man I need all the 95 playoff highlights especially Sonics-Lakers
it's nice to meet you and the 1995 sonics vs lakers series last i checked is on you tube
Michael Jordan was the best player
@@mickeyjohnson5247 yesssiiiirrrrr
if you didnt say this, we didnt know
it's nice to meet you and the only players more elite than him were kareem abdul-jabbar oscar robertson wilt chamberlain and bill russell
This Blazers team is really good. Could probably match up with '96 Bulls even
7:22 That shot by Cartwright, my god...so uncomfortable to watch.
The way he shoot was awkward.
9:07 Danny Ainge's most athletic play of his career.
He can still go to other teams and still go to the NBA Finals.

@@TheSands83 If were being totally honest, a better all-around athlete then MJ. Just not close to a better basketball player.
Mike missed some easy ones in the clutch and gave life to Portland with that technical. They really gave this one away. He was pissed at himself.
Cliff Robinson was the only player with the headband in that time.

it's nice to meet you and please tell me how you feel about the 1991 bulls going 15-2 in the playoffs while the 1996 team went 15-3
Michael Jordan Simply the Best like the song said better than all the rest the one and only g o a t
Actually, the Blazers were the most likely to beat the Bulls out of the six championships the Bulls won with Jordan.
