OMFG this is the first bigger creator I’ve seen play. More of this, you’re Grounded videos got me and my spouse into the game. I was already playing V Rising since beta. I would love to see you reach endgame and play it all.

This reminds me of that Forsaken World MMO where you could choose Vampire for both race *and* class. This looks like a cute little game.

Great idea I think Cade should play Elden Ring
I’ve been playing this game a lot and having fun with it. Some quick tips for any new players watching this video.
1. NPC’s which are glowing red have blood qualities that are higher than 90% which means all the buffs for that blood type are unlocked. That Moose Cade started chasing was glowing red and had 92% quality Creature blood. (100% quality blood makes the unlocked buffs even better) Generally speaking, you should fully drain an enemy with high quality buffs and enjoy the benefits for as LONG as you can, but otherwise consider the FEED option to be a periodic insta-kill on enemies during fights.
2: As frustrating as it can be to have to replenish your blood supply, you do learn how to take prisoners and use them for renewable high-quality blood sources EARLY into Act 2. (Taking blood from prisoners drains their health and raises misery, so feed the prisoners rats to restore health AND/OR fish to restore health AND lower misery)
3: V Carriers drop blood orbs to restore your health, when you get them down to half health. And draining a V Carrier releases a damaging shockwave to kill any possible mooks that might still be harassing you, along with blowing up resource nodes.
4: There are times where V Carriers will fight other V Carriers if they cross paths while wandering around, and that’s usually a good way to get their buffs easy. As long as you’re not getting TOO involved in their fight, and they decide to focus fire on you.😬 (Funniest moment in my first playthrough was the Haunted Iron Mine, and I came across the Holy Archer and the Undead General after they both had put each other down and were helpless on the floor. 🤣 Vamped them both, got the perks, didn’t have to lift a finger, lol)
5: Your level is determined by your equipment, weapons, armor, rings, and if an enemy is a higher level than you, they do more damage to you and you do less damage to them. The various colors of their health bars are giveaways to tell you when an enemy is out of your league.
6: ALL weapons unlock new skills when you get the better versions of those weapons. Bone weapons have the basic attack, Copper weapons get the first skill unlocked, and Iron weapons (and beyond) have both skills unlocked. (The Copper Spear’s rapid-stab is the first skill, the Iron Spear has the second skill, where you can pull a Mortal Kombat Scorpion-style “GET OVER HERE!” to pull enemies towards you.)
2 last tips which are just “anti-frustration” for things that annoyed ME when I started out.
7: Materials that are “too hard” to be mined require the “upgraded” versions of those tools. Bone weapons can’t mine copper, but reinforced bone weapons can. To mine Iron, you need the MERCILESS Copper weapons, not the basic Copper weapons. (my frustration was because I spent a long time trying to get the Merciless Copper Mace recipe to mine Iron before I remembered, “Oh yeah, the mace isn’t EXCLUSIVELY for mining, it’s just better at it and I can still mine the iron with the merciless copper sword, axes, or spear.😑🤦♂️”)
Side-note to 7; you can eventually unlock a Bear form to mine BIG mineral nodes, but you still need to have the high enough level weapon “equipped” to do it.
8: To make a roof for your castles, you need to just have Walls, not the starting “Palisade” walls. As soon as you slap down enough walls around an area, a roof will form and you don’t need to burn bones in a Brazier for cover from the sun anymore. (Seriously, just make 3 walls and 1 doorway around a single square of castle-flooring, instant roof over that one square, dead simple) All your stations to process materials and make stuff get a speed-buff if they’re inside a castle that has a roof, or a ROOM in a castle that has a roof. And you learn to make specific types of flooring, which reduce how many raw materials are used up as long as they’re in a room where all the floor panels are specific for that station. (A sawmill inside a castle room with a roof, and all the floor panels in that room are “Workshop” flooring will turn wood into wood planks faster than normal, and the wood planks will be made using 3/4 the amount of wood that would normall get used up.)

pro tip try and keep the highest blood procent possibol bc then you get better perks so 20% warior is better then 2% rouge also try to have the best blood type to your wepon of choice and playstyle
