It's impressive how Orcas are basically the only creatures on the planet that are capable of handling anything with their natural physical abilities alone. That clip of that orca ramming that great white at full speed looked insane. It was going so fast, with so much mass behind it, that it made the shark look helpless. The power they put into their tail strikes is incredible too. Their intelligence overall is just fascinating.

I have an interesting 🤔 idea 💡 for your potential video? Since you talk about invasive species list, how about a video 📹 about American native insects that fight against invasive insects?
My personal favorite American insect would be the praying mantis preying on invasive spotted lanternflies. These spotted lanternflies damaging towards trees 🌳 and fruit crops in the East Coast. They got here in America due to accidental shipment from Asia 🌏 and they were spotted in Pennsylvania since 2014. Praying mantises are keeping their numbers under control. I haven't seen a single lanternfly since my garden is filled with praying mantises. If praying mantises weren't here, the invasion of spotted lanternflies could've been much worse.
We should be thankful that praying mantises are here. 🙏🏻

They'll occasionally get eaten by orcas if they stray too far into open ocean, though orcas don't really hunt them (meaning they don't search for polar bears or pursue them the way they do normal prey).

2:37 is a New Zealand orca. It's the only one that hunts stingray.
I quite like sharks, 11:02 when it suddenly notices danger and turns its head, sad. I don't like orca that hunt sharks. Nor other dolphins that play with their food. I have a young cat.... but she's not an ocean cat. It seems worse because ocean cats are so much bigger, and not fluffy and cuddly at all.
9:52 sharks, like tuna, and a lot of other predators, follow the bait fish that travel the currents. Normally this current travels up the west coast of South America, where a lot of seal, and penguin, breeding colonies are, before travelling west across the Pacific tropical zone. During an El Nino event, this current changes direction, travelling up the east coast of Australia, and west coast of New Zealand. This means that sharks too are inhabiting these areas, and I have taken notice that shark attacks on humans usually only occur at these times. El Nino also brings much wetter weather to these areas as well. New Zealand, where I am, is having a very mild and wet winter, as well as a rare cyclone much earlier in the year. Australia usually gets floods, though I have not noticed it this year I have in the past. Another association with El Nino is that because there is a lack of this moisture bringing El Nino for almost a decade, Australia often has major bush fires in the year just prior. This happened a year ago, and I remember a terrible fire happening in 2008, then major floods the next year. I have no idea if there have been any studies about El Nino and the links between shark attacks, fires, or floods... this is just something I have noticed, and looked into. Does anyone know of any? Does anyone think I should try myself?
