    El escenario donde se realiza este concierto de Brixi también me agrada, ya que es Católico Romano. De nuevo, mis agradecimientos por permitir escuchar esta obra maestra checa del siglo XVIII. El timbre sonoro del órgano es magnífico!!

    one of my favorite composers. Less 'worn out' than Mozart, about same time I think : unfortunately died young. He got a wonderful christmas concerto too. Check it out.

      It was mainly thanks to Brixi paving the way that Mozart became so popular in Prague.

      Why Mozart? Why Bach? Mozart was (just one of many) classic composers, Bach was (just one of many) baroque. Brixi was late baroque, early classic composer and chances are that he wasn't aware of neither Bach, nor Mozart.

    Good music, well performed and recorded, but very poorly thought-out camera angle. I wished to see more of the soloist but was given instead, a constant view of the conductor's arse end which blocked the view of the organist.

      Ktery Bach? Mozna srovnavat CPE Bacha s FX Brixim. Ale souhlasim, Brixi ma slovanskou dusi / cit a Bach germanskou a je to slyset. Navic FXB je vic hudba klasicisticka a JSB ryze barokni, takze bych oba neporovnaval. Oba maji sve plusy ...

    The music is interesting. Sort of a midway development between Bach and the French Symphonic music. Too bad they were so cheap that they could not hire a proper camera crew to fim the solowis instead the back of the conductor. How stupid can you get. If you are going to do it, make some attempt to give production value.

    • @davidgriffiths7215
      @davidgriffiths7215 Před 5 lety +4

      What an ungracious comment. Who the hell cares? The sound quality is good which is far more important than "production value" whatever that means. Just enjoy the beautiful music and the excellent playing.

    • @HenrikBergpianorganist
      @HenrikBergpianorganist Před rokem +1

      So you can't make a recording without spending shitloads of money on a camera crew who has to film and edit? Not everybody or every institution has endless amounts of money. It's not about stupidity. I assume you never had to think about money once in your life. Just enjoy the music! "Production value", jeez...

    • @organbuilder272
      @organbuilder272 Před rokem

      @@HenrikBergpianorganist If you have the money to shoot from one location, you have the money to shoot from more than one. Yes, cameras have a 10 limit film load. That means they had to use two cameras and naturally they had to edit. Either that or they stopped playing within the 10 minute limit, reloaded and continued the piece from the stopping point. Regardless there would have to be a cut-away to cover the change. Still needing an editor. If you are oging to make a film of a performance - do it right. And yes, I agree that the music in the most important. Byt the way, worry about money. I am 85 and still have to work for a living. No one ever gave me anything.
