They can be savage, too. Try the cyphers, ddaeng, and ugh. Also the rapline's solo stuff is hard. (FYI-Suga goes by Agust D for his solo tapes)
They also have other full BTS songs that aren't so cheerful or are much harder. Baepsae/Silverspoon is one of my favorites because it is a commentary on things faced by today's youth. Ugh is another favorite because it addresses the devaluing of anger that we see so often today. Dope is another about youth. Agust D's The Last is one of my absolute favorite songs because it talks about mental health(which is a taboo topic in SKorea). Nevermind is a fave for a similar reason. And an older but great song, N.O. is another fave because of the message.

Fun fact: BTS and Halsey are really good friends that is why they collabed after 2years of friendship (before BWL, still close friends up till present) 💜💜 she’s especially close with RM (well, since he speaks english) and she’s amazed by SUGA, that’s why she collabed with him on her album MANIC. :)
Plus, u may be curious on why Halsey is less heard or seen in this mv. She actually contributed a lot in Boy With Luv, she even sang in Korean. However, what I previously said is more evident in the Spotify version. Idk why here in the music video, it’s not that shown. But from what i hear is that the purpose is so that they could perform this at comeback stages and the Korean award shows (which is kinda a big deal to them) without having to fly Halsey in every time.

A really good song that yall might want to look into is Halsey's "Suga's Interlude". It's a song with Suga (Obviously) but the verses are all his and it's a really nice contrast between their voices. I haven't seen a lot of people react to it, so it would be really cool if you guys did!

Halsey's part is bigger on the album track but since they often perform this independently of her, they kept the part small for this version.

BTS has written several songs for their fans. This is one of them. Halsey represents ARMY and it's a happy upbeat song, about how much BTS loves ARMYs, wants to know everything about them, are they okay, and return the happiness and love that the fans give them. It sounds cheesy but is actually genuine and is a big part of why they have such a loyal fanbase.

They got along great with Halsey ! And are good friends still today. She is so genuine with the guys. She even gifted each of the guys with pink sapphire bracelets (pink for the main color in the video), and they gifted her with her own BTS blinged out microphone. BTS’ fandom- ARMY, has taken her in as family. On her birthday, ARMYS made large donations to her favorite charity (BTS does not accept gifts from fans, so for the guys’ birthdays, the fans make huge charitable donations that is close to the members. Such as, donating to plant a forest in the members name, huge donations to schools in the members hometowns, supplying libraries with favorite reading materials, organizations for animal reserves, children’s organizations and orphanages. Whatever causes that are close to the members’ hearts).
I hope you'll react to other songs of BTS as both Boy with Luv and Dynamite are so westernized compared to their "normal" songs. To me, these 2 songs come across as "toned down" and easy for the ear to get more international fans, as compared to other songs like Fire, Not Today, Fake love, and more.

The fact that at the beginning of their career their vibe was very hip hop, of course with their positive message. But as time went by they tried all the song genres and it was really good. They have been known from the beginning with their message, whether it was taboo criticism, mental health, where at that time they were not as big as now and dare to speak out about it all. Their agency allows them to always say what they want to say, so that they participate in the process of composing songs or writing lyrics. That's what made them different at that time. But now seeing their success, many other kpop groups are doing this and I'm proud that they can be good role models. Even now that they are grown, their hard work and inclusion in their music have not diminished and still remain humble. Not to mention their humanitarian campaign, their super wise words. I think maybe because they started from zero and felt various racism and injustice. Therefore, ARMYs are very protective of anything that concerns them, because they also do the same.

Yes, many of their songs give that message of positivity and hope, but they also have a variety of themes which they include in their lyrics of their songs such as mental health, psychology and social problems. :)
I recommend black swan MV, it is a little different from what you have seen from BTS but equally incredible, the lyrics are deeper as well as the visuals. They have a variety of music with different approaches, but always interesting and necessary.
Don’t understand why you’re watching the most “pop” BTS songs. I mean, they are also good, but you can get absolutely wrong impression of BTS by watching only those music videos...
They are the newest releases... so of course they will watch them. They also have the most views on CZcams so you can’t really blame them.

@@abbiecampfield8955 i think they meant that they only sing about surfaced things and general “pop” songs. things like Black Swan, Blood Sweat & Tears, (Yoongi’s, RM’s and Hobi’s mixtapes) will definitely show them that they’re much deeper than their “pop” songs and Boy With Luv was a song made to show how people perceive them. if they look into their older albums, the albums that are part of the story line, their MOTS albums, etc. they’ll come to realise just how complicated their works truly is and how serious their music can be. they have seen amazing things and i love the songs they reacted to, myself but i’ve come to realise that if this is all you show people, they don’t tend to look for anything else. it’s like with DNA. i first heard of BTS in 2017 when i heard DNA but as it was a love song, i liked it and all but i thought they were just another boy band like the rest ive seen come and go. it was only this year when i watched BS&T that i wanted to find the true meaning of it and went on my journey through their albums, Save Me webtoon, etc.
i think that’s what she meant, she doesn’t want these guys to just look at BTS as fun and jolly performers but rather, humans with vulnerability and fears. relatable figures who let us into their minds.

The female OG group is called 2NE1: I’m the best, Come Back Home, I Love You. CL, the main rapper, just signed with BigHit, which is a BTS label. the comments are all suggestions but I would like to say that u guys got the right vibe of the song! this song is a reflection in a way of their older song "boy in luv" where the lyrics are more aggressive. I think this whole era is a re-visit for them of their older (earlier) releases. Plus a fun fact, this song's name in korean translates literally to "a poem for small things" which is in a way like a message with a positive tone to the little happy things in our lives, and to each of their fans! nice reaction :D
