A feature for the NFL on FOX pregame show, NFL safety Donte Whitner always had a reputation as a vicious hitter - earning the nickname Donte HITner - but I found out the genesis of that ferociousness had nothing to do with GIVING pain, but feeling it. At 4 years old Donte was hit by a car and not expected to walk again - let alone ever play sports. But once he was out of a full body cast, Donte vowed he would go from being hit - to the one doing the hitting.
