    Thank you for the video! Planning to grab this or the other rounder version of the aurora XPX. What temps do you have on this thing at full load?
    Edit: Nevermind, just saw/heard it :)

      Temps are awesome. But I wouldn't use this block if you have a big loop. Its very restrictive. If you have a smaller loop, or just 1 360mm or 2 240mm rads you will be ok. I love this block but having a Distro plate, 2 360mm rads (one is 45mm thick) CPU, GPU blocks and a mini Distro the Eisblock gets restrictive. The EK Velocity is also amazing. But aesthetically the Eisblock is by far my favorite Block. Hope that helps.

      @@Moyersteven1 helped a lot... actually I just bought it 😁
      I'm running a R7 5800x with 2x 240mm rads (27mm + 45mm), laing ddc-1t 10w and the father of the xp blocks... alphacool nexxxos xp silver, back from 2004/5. It's been in my setup for around 15 years and still rocks, but it's not multicore intended so let's what 15 years of evolution are bringing. I'm really curious, and hope it's not just 2 or 3c + rgb lighting 😅
      At the moment 35-36c idle and 82-83c after 30minutes of stress testing on aida64 (first 3 options ticked), modern warfare doesn't even go over 55C. By thursday I'll have it and will test. Thank you for taking the time to reply, much appreciated.

    is this block restrictive because all im seeing is comments on this but i think this looks like one of the best blocks for its price? honestly

      It is fairly restrictive. More than the EK but not as bad as some others. Performs awesome, Definitely in my tip 3 CPU blocks. I have this block, gpu block, 2 360mm rads and a 360mm distro plate with a EK D5 pump and it pushes it ok. Of you have a small loop its one of the best blocks I've used. I highly recommend it. If you have a huge loop. More than 2 360mm rads and a gpu block I would go with the EK Velocity. The EK Velocity is less restrictive. Like I said I do highly recommend this block. I also have the EK Velocity and 2 others and I like the Alphacool much better than the others. Not just because it looks 10x better but it also performs amazing. Hope this helps.

      @@zaminnagiyev999 They are both fantastic and while I love the look of this one, the EK Velocity is my go too for larger loops. If you have a small loop this one is Fantastic. No difference in temps.

      @@Moyersteven1 did you change your BYKSKI block? or did the nickel plating got eaten in the loop? i saw your old video and it was nickel not copper inside the BYKSKI block

    • @Moyersteven1
      @Moyersteven1  Před 3 lety +1

      @@nigmaCA Yes, I changed it to a EK waterblock. I changed it 3x to try out some others. I used Bykski, Alphacool and EK. The Bykski beats the Alphacool and is very close to the EK. I highly recommend the Bykski block. It's a great CPU block.

      @@Moyersteven1 thanks for the reply, but i meant the BYKSKI is showing copper and not nickel as in your older video? did your loop strip the nickel plating ?
