Just like these pathetic hosts that have ZERO ANSWERS. The best that they can do is throw rocks at the truth. Quite pathetic to those of us that's IN THE KNOW. Here, take this w/ you:

Even at 5 years old I had a problem with the Bible
The Sunday school teachers ( bless them ) tried their best to answer my awkward questions , like how can you survive for 3 days in a whales stomach with no air and surrounded by stomach acid that is dissolving you ?
    Answer was always the same
God can do anything even the impossible!
I accepted it at the time
I was 5 , it didn't cross my mind that a " teacher " would lie , perhaps lie is a little harsh , but presenting something unproven as fact is certainly dishonest
When I was only a few years older and understood more , it was clear deception
    And Magic isn't real
    Nothing supernatural
The can be nothing impossible that isn't also impossible to God
( Can God make a rock that is so heavy that he can't lift it 😅
I Quit religion completely at 10 yrs
And it was as simple as that
The Bible stories had to be false as they fly in the face of everything we know now
The BS that God can do the impossible is easily proven false
Everything we do know has a natural explanation, we have never found a super natural explanation for anything
I don't understand how any adult can believe the Bible is totally valid
It's wilful ignorance and mental gymnastics
And there is no escaping that
Religious people are dishonest and deliberately so
Religion is a dangerous social contagion
    And people are dumb

Same here! I was given a children’s Bible in primary school, it had all of the sex and most of the violence removed. Because I was an avid reader, I read it and realised it was all impossible nonsense. I was an atheist before I went to secondary school. I am 76 years old now and, a couple of years ago, I decided to read the Bible all the way through. I would read out the more ridiculous and misogynistic parts to my wife. She was brought up as a Roman Catholic and, of course, only knew the bits that her priests and teachers had told her. It really is hard to understand how people can accept the utter lunacy of religion.

Well apart from the indoctrination from birth and the desire to conform
I think people believe there has to be a reason for everything or everything is meaningless
God can be an answer for everything
Also the promise of eternity in heaven with all your loved ones after you die
I have stood on mountain tops and gazed into the distance, just marveling at the beauty and the adrenaline floods my system and I overcome with the joy of just being alive
I felt the same thing when I first held each of my 4 children
Religious people I know claim that their love for Jesus or God gives them that exact feeling
For me it's just an adrenaline rush , chemicals in my bloodstream
But for the religious it's a full blown actual contact with God through your soul
You can get that euphoria from anything that overwhelms you with joy
So it follows that being in church with your loved ones and community you could easily become euphoric
It is proof of God to them
These are the main reasons I see
I can understand why some believe
      It's serious brain washing
      Religions are just death cults
With promises of rewards in the afterlife
The greatest madness of man is the endless warfare and bloodshed over who has the correct God

The SciFi Don was referring to might have been Douglas Adams’ The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy.
The argument goes something like this: ‘I refuse to prove that I exist,’ says God, ‘for proof denies faith, and without faith I am nothing.’ “ ‘But,’ says Man, ‘the Babel fish is a dead giveaway, isn’t it? It could not have evolved by chance. It proves you exist, and so therefore, by your own arguments, you don’t. The argument goes something like this:
"I refuse to prove that I exist," says God, "for proof denies faith, and without faith I am nothing."
"But," says Man, "the Babel fish is a dead giveaway, isn't it? It could not have evolved by chance. It proves that You exist, and so therefore, by Your own arguments, You don't. QED."
"Oh dear," says God, "I hadn't thought of that," and promptly vanishes in a puff of logic.

The bible has changed a great deal over time. We also lack original copies so there is no possibility of verifying original text or meaning. In certain parts of the bible there are hints of pagan belief which, although dismissed by most Christians, show that these gods were still in peoples minds even the Jesus characters. I see the bible as a malaise of contradictions and certainly not something I would commit my life to.

As I saw someone neatly put it, when you consider the size of the visible universe (which is only the parts of the universe we're physically capable of ever seeing) and how far we've explored into it, this is like someone taking a glass to all the oceans of the world, scooping up some sea water and concluding "no fish".
In fact, worse than that, as comparing taking a glass of water from all the oceans of the world would be an overly generous appraisal of how much this gargantuan universe we've ever actually looked at.
I'm a believer in the statistical argument. Our own galaxy has some 300 to 400 billion stars in it - with probably about the same, or more, planets orbiting them all - and there's hundreds of billions of galaxies that we know about.
Even if the event that caused life to blossom here was freakishly unlikely, in a universe of such insane scale, it's almost certainly happened more than once. So this argues that there's almost certainly alien life out there.
BUT the problem with this statistical argument is that it's also telling you that such life is so incredibly sparse, in a universe so gargantuan.
Like, even if we KNEW that there were aliens in the Andromeda galaxy and the aliens in the Andromeda galaxy KNEW that we were here, and both civilisations developed FTL ships that could go 10 times the speed of light and both headed towards each other to meet in the middle...
...then that's 2.5 million lightyears to Andromeda. 1.25 million lightyears to meet halfway. At 10 times the speed of light, that's still 125,000 years.
Even if your spaceship could go 100 times lightspeed, then you've still got over a 12,000 year journey - and that's with me trying to take away all impediments to have both civilisations heading directly towards each other, to meet in the middle, even using super-fast "100 times lightspeed" FTL technology to get there.
So I believe that there's almost certainly alien life out there. But the odds that any two instances of life in the universe are anywhere remotely near each other to actually meet is so infinitesimally small, might as well consider it "impossible".
There are little green men out there, surely. Possibly many, many different species, dotted all around the universe. But, statistically, we'll simply never know them and they'll never know us.
(By the way, for completeness, we DON'T KNOW how likely or unlikely life is in the universe. No actual number for that. Maybe it's actually super freaking common and the above appraisal need not be quite so bleak - but, even there, it probably will take FTL technology and still take a long time to get anywhere, as the universe is just so insanely huge.
But, like, I'm just addressing the "Fermi paradox". Which isn't really a paradox at all. It's more a failure of comprehension of just how stupidly, insanely big the universe is.
For example, as I was saying, there's 300 to 400 billion stars in the Milky Way galaxy.
Let's say there's a "space empire" that spans a thousand stars. Like, a civilisation spanning a thousand stars is not small. And we'll say that this civilisation lasts a million years - which is also supremely generous.
What is a thousand stars out of 300 to 400 billion? What's a million years out of 13.6 billion?
I'm going to be even more generous. Let's have a thousand civilisations of a thousand stars, all lasting a million years.
What's the odds that any of these needles overlap in a haystack so large? Effectively, nigh-on nil.
    Space is big.
Space is so mind-bogglingly big, you could hide a thousand civilisations that span a thousand stars each, all lasting for a generous million years, in just this one galaxy alone... and the odds are that they'd never ever know about each other. Not even once.
Like, that's just the numbers. Do the numbers, from the facts we do know, and, unfortunately, yeah, the conclusion has to be... we're never meeting aliens. But they are almost certainly out there.
Space is so big that the conclusion has to be that, even if we're not alone, we might as well be alone. Because "first contact" ain't ever happening, not even by radio waves at the speed of light. There will, by the odds, be no meeting of alien minds ever.
Or, put another way, is there alien life out there? Actually, most probably, yes.
But this fact is of absolutely no consequence to anything whatsoever, as we're never meeting or trading notes at any point, so we're still effectively all alone, even if we're not all alone.

It's me that has all the answers and has BY FAR the best cognitive grasp of true reality or I wouldn't be here teaching those concepts. Take this for free:
There is ZERO POSSIBILITY that this world is GODLESS.
We CLEARLY OBSERVE that there is no part of basic nature that can produce the human being or anything else (e.g. star dust, moist rocks, mud puddles, hot rocks, moon dirt, warm ponds, gravity, oceans, primordial soup, nothing).
KNOWING THIS, the atheists SCREAM IN DESPERATION:
“But what if we jolted some rock soup w/ 1.21 gigawatts!?!”
“What if we heat some rock soup to right degree?!?”
“What if we place moon dirt under magnets!?!”
I LAUGH at you atheists! LOL! You’re beat! SLAUGHTERED by the IRREFUTABLE FACTS that prove all your Godless desperation is not only WRONG, but IMPOSSIBLE!!!
Your PROVENLY asinine, lost & clueless atheist cult just got annihilated :)

Screams the lost and clueless atheist f00l that thinks star dust, moist rocks and mud puddles have the INTELLIGENCE, POWER, PURPOSE, RESOURCES AND MEANS to create/design LIFE, INTELLIGENCE, LOVE, CONSCIOUSNESS, MORALITY, the human being and ALL the co-existent bodily systems (circulatory, respiratory, reproductive, pulmonic, digestive, skeletal, muscular, nervous, body (skin), etc., etc.) intertwined in co-dependent order in the human body :) Atheism is pure idiocy.
The religious cult of atheism is INFAMOUS the world over for having ZERO ANSWERS. That's because atheism RUNS from "reality." I would add that as an atheist, you're bankrupt of RATIONAL/POSSIBLE causes for life, intelligence, consciousness, morality and ALL the co-existent bodily systems (circulatory, respiratory, reproductive, pulmonic, digestive, skeletal, muscular, nervous, body (skin), etc., etc.) intertwined in co-dependent order in the human body.
Atheism has no RATIONAL/POSSIBLE, step by step atheist explanation for reality. That’s because there isn’t one. THINK ABOUT what you’re getting into w/ the cult of atheism. GET OUT NOW. I’ll help you find truth. Atheism has none.
I just want to take a moment and warmly commend Dr. Powers THE GREAT for his surgical nuclear strikes on stupidity (atheism). This man does NOT play around. He cuts off foolish losers (atheists) at the ankles, when he points out that NOTHING of their Godless cult has ever been observed, as he contrasts NATURE that is OBSERVED (1) vs NATURE that’s NEVER OBSERVED (2) vs All basic NATURE that can’t produce the human or anything else (3) vs The NEVER OBSERVED lies of the cult of atheism (4):
      (1) Flower bloom, reproduction, photosynthesis, digestion, respiration, top down production, gravity, sunshine.
      (2) Big bang, abiogenesis, mistakes (mutations) gaining in complexity/new information, evolution.
      (3) Star dust, moist rocks, mud puddles, hot rocks, moon dirt, warm ponds, gravity, oceans, primordial soup, nothing).
      (4) Big bang, abiogenesis, mistakes (mutations) gaining in complexity/new information, evolution, gain of complexity/gain of new information/new anatomy.
AGAIN, I thank Dr. Powers for being BY FAR the best teacher of true reality PROBABLY ON EARTH and I look forward to the questions of the lost & clueless newbies (atheists) that come to these threads to pick his brain, as Dr. Powers continues to enlighten us with his vast knowledge that dwarfs all of ours combined.

It would be more honest for you to say "I've heard of something called quantum tunnelling, but I don't understand what it is or how it works, so I'll withhold comment. But it seems like an interesting concept, so I'll keep my eyes open for some form of explanation that I can understand."

@drewdrake9130 no, No one can Know God for you or that the Bible is God's Word, but you. I implemented the teachings and character of Jesus into my daily life and tested His promises which are contained within His many Names - Provider, Healer, Deliverer, Help in Times of Trouble, Peace in impossible Chaos, etc. and found that as I prayed, as I drew close to Him, as i stood upon those Name/Promises, I could see, time after time they were to be trusted in my life. I can't say when exactly I began to see the wisdom, the truth, the amazing difference His Word made in my life as God's Word, but it became like no 'regular human advice or self-help tapes - I began to read about the things Jesus did in the Biblical accounts and wonder if they could be true and I began to see many of them - healings and deliverances in my own life and family, amazing provision etc. Some prayers were answered exactly as I prayed; others in completely different ways; and some I'm still confident will be answered at some point. All I can suggest, if you are serious, that you humbly begin to seek Him through His Word, particularly through the NT where you can 'meet” Jesus, God in flesh. I wish you well.
