    For those looking for more details, I think you're missing the point of this video. There are lots of places to learn and this is just a perfect example to get started.
    Also, remember that you can watch this video 100 times for free until you get it.

    That was wonderful and amazing. I have a very small dumbek that is really for a child but I still was able to learn the basic rhythm from this video.

    excellent lesson, although if i had to give positive critic: a beginner needs longer loops of repetition in the videos to practice while watching. therefore longer repetitions from the teacher for each steps. this would avoid us having to rewind the video so very many times. Other than that, this is one of the best explained rhythmic lessons! thank-you very much!!

    Very good indeed, but you could use more micro-steps for the in-between slaps and variations. It is hard to catch exactly which hand is playing which beat when you are going quickly. Still, very good!

    Thank you, great lesson - but like some of the others - I would like to have the rhythm broken down more and showed slower, so I can practice better.

    Would be awesome if you showed very slowly how to hit with 1 finger versus another. I cannot follow at all unfortunately.

    Could anyone tell me how many beats should go inbetween the many rhythm?

    • @imbatgirl
      @imbatgirl Před 9 lety

      I think all these rhythms are played in 8th notes. Or to make it simpler 4 but you add and ... for example 1 and 2 and 3 and 4 and. Or 1 2 3 4, 5 6 7 8
