- Thanks to CZcamsr Bob Kelland for this idea. This is a variation on his theme. I couldn't find the mellow background music. See his original version here, • One man drywall instal...
The hangers are Simpson fence straps. Though tedious, I could not obtain a drywall lifter to do a 20'x40' garage. If I wasn't a maker/DIY, I wouldn't need a garage, wouldn't need to hang small quantities of sheetrock. But the drywall lifter looks cool, I'd like to give it a go. - Jak na to + styl
It's really good idea ☺. Some people like you make the difference. ..
Thanks for watching and commenting politely. I was beginning to wonder if nice people ever commented.
Very good bro
Well, I only had to do a few (maybe 8 at the most). The ibuprofen cost a lot less than a shitrock lifter; even if I bought it at Harvard Fright.
where to buy the painter pole that he is using
I didn't use a painter pole. Maybe its the brace you're asking about. I made it from 1"x4" scrap. The jacks (maybe that's what you're asking) are from Home Depot. Though not designed for this, its a cargo brace for securing stuff in the back of a truck bed. Got it at Home Depot. Thanks for the polite comment.

Thanks for watching. I have more drywall for another small ceiling project. I plan on renting the Home Depot equipment and will video it for the naysayers.
This is so fucking sad. Its genius but sad no one wants to help you. Man id give u hand for free to learn! Thanks for inspiration to be self sufficient and go against the odds.

Thanks for watching. I appreciate the backing and friggin kind words.
Patrick McVey man im inspired and will do the dry wall myself and fuck asking for help privileged teenagers :) did u have a special intent doing the edges separate? And if why?
The seams should be offset. I filled them in with the odd lengths ("the drop") after. ...ok, I looked closer. For reasons I won't go into, my trusses are not 96" o.c. In order to use a full sheet, I had to start it off from the first truss down. Later (not shown), I nailed a crib along the edge and fitted the drop in that gap.
rent lift drywall ..
Hey Renan Iporre, this just in. My local Home Depot rents it for $32 USD/day. I have another section to do. Keep posted cuz I'll video it. Thanks for commenting and watching. Kind of tarnishes my DIY spirit but saves time. I see your point.
