What is Roblox? ROBLOX is an online virtual playground and workshop, where kids of all ages can safely interact, create, have fun, and learn. It’s unique in that practically everything on ROBLOX is designed and constructed by members of the community. ROBLOX is designed for 13 to 18 year olds, but it is open to people of all ages. Each player starts by choosing an avatar and giving it an identity. They can then explore ROBLOX - interacting with others by chatting, playing games, or collaborating on creative projects. Each player is also given their own piece of undeveloped real estate along with a virtual toolbox with which to design and build anything - be it a navigable skyscraper, a working helicopter, a giant pinball machine, a multiplayer “Capture the Flag” game or some other, yet-to-be-dreamed-up creation. There is no cost for this first plot of virtual land. By participating and by building cool stuff, ROBLOX members can earn specialty badges as well as ROBLOX dollars (“Robux”). In turn, they can shop the online catalog to purchase avatar clothing and accessories as well as premium building materials, interactive components, and working mechanisms.

roblox needs to start optimising their engine so we can get better performance
for real, roblox only effectively uses ONE cpu core (most modern cpu's have 6 or more cores, older ones usually have 2-4) which is really the main bottleneck for 99% of users. If the client effectively uses all cores on a cpu, expect fps to triple or even quadruple! my old pc had an i5-14600kf and it BARELY rendered the game at below 20 m/s (around 80/90 fps) in jailbreak at 1080P while my 3060ti was BELOW 1M/S (over like 800fps if the math is correct WHICH IS INSANE BTW)

@@MaskRobloxOfficial Yes but also the rest of code in Roblox that's not the player, rendering, physics, etc. The scripts, they do have pararel Luau capability. It's that, it's not well understood yet.
Honestly I want that any fps should be set up to a specific number. Personally i'm using 60 for now but i plan on using 75 once i finish what im working on.
same, my monitor can go up to 180 hz but since it's connected via HDMI it can only go to 140, so it's possible the 144 hz option won't work for me
im actually excited for this since it looks like that you can change the fps limit in game without having to close out the roblox client

It's still a good idea to use an fps unlocker, you say in the video, "there is no point of having over 240 fps because our eyes can't notice it", you are wrong about that,
In games like Geometry Dash and Roblox (im going to explain it in geometry dash) If you have fps as high as 4000 FPS the game starts to break and the rotation of the icons will break, but in roblox, I agree that it most likely wouldnt change a thing, but overall, im pretty sure roblox in 4000 FPS would be as smooth as a sphere.
Again it depends on your hz.
For roblox fps unlocker makes the screen a bit smoother (when you switch back to 60 you experience screen tearing), however it helps with easier execution for timings and changes the physics. Same with geometry dash, i play gd and in roblox i play obbies. After

Not everyone will notice the difference, so you know about the mega herts thing that says like idk, lets say 90 mega herts, thats 90 fps at maximum, higher than 90 fps like 100 will change nothing, meaning that you'll have to pay attention at the mega herts, so, if your pc is 60 herts, then it'll change nothing.
AND NO, you cannot change the mega herts in your pc

yeah everyone knows this and lot of people has over 60 hz and u should be able to use at least 120 fps without any apps.
most phone kids are probably on 60 hz so for mostly phone kids wont see a differenece

240 is low im usually at 600 fps so im really used to that and when i try 240 like nah i feel it ii know that there is not many people that have 360hz+ monitor but for those of us which do they should just add it like how hard can it be to just set a limit when you already have written the code still would prefer unlimited but 360 would still be nice

don't get your hopes up buddy. if your machine gets less than 60 to begin with, this update won't really change anything. If your laptop is struggling to render the game below 60, unlocking that fps won't change anything, it won't improve your fps, it will just allow higher end machines to stretch their legs.
