Whenever I ask my wife her thoughts about my barefoot shoes, she gives me the same answer and disgusted look too! 😂🤣

I bought these and have a love hate relationship with them. I get complimented frequently about how unique they are. I love that I have a tradition shoe that I can wear without socks, and one thing's for sure, it never gets stinky. I've used them fulltime since March, however, and when I go to music festivals, I still do need to add moleskin and other blister guards to prevent from being miserable. Unfortunately, nothing else quite exists that does this concept better. I'm hoping the Ultra IV Bloom fixes these issues.

Music fests are an underrated use case! Where do you typically get blisters wearing these?

@@PGBlanksTop of pinky and big toe, and the heel. I might just go with a sandleshoe next time, but I do like how these look close enough to traditional shoes that you could theoretically get away with it in an l environment where shoes are more socially acceptable.

Yeah, same experience here. I use these a lot, and get scuffing in my pinky side when not also wearing socs. The inital comfort was bad, and the bend in foodbed area was awful. It has gotten a lot better tough. I would rate these a 80e shoes max. The idea is excellent tough, material choises and comfort not so much.

@@NoVoiOvi I had the same problem with my pinky area, I just got some shoe pads from CVS for bunions and placed them there. Now, I love these shoes!

Vivobarefoot water shoes are very good for water activities. Tried it for dragonboat paddling training & competition, wading at the beach esp if the beach is rocky/sharp corals, going to Kawasan Falls in Cebu PH, snorkelling.
It is quick-dry. On drying- you can technically turn it upside down to drain all the water.

Primus Lite 3s are a good gym shoe alternative to those. I've also heard the new Motus Strengths are an excellent gym shoe too.

I just bought a pair. They look really cool and almost feel good, except for the awful blister they are causing especially on my right big Toe. They also run a bit against the ball of my ankle on the left side. I’m worried I’ll never adapt
To them as they’re too painful to walk in.
It’s a shame because they could be the perfect show for me because I live in a hot and wet climate. They’re breathable, lightweight, they don’t get wet or smelly. But the pain they cause is terrible. I might have to return them. These are the fourth vivo shoe I have owned. Love the Gobi, they are the perfect shoe.

These were also my first pair of barefoot shoes! I bought them because I needed something similar to Crocs. I'm a vet assistant, and things get very "messy" sometimes so needed something that I could use and wash up every day. I also use these shoes to go to the lake and river, they are nice for that but sometimes gravel gets through the holes. I have them it's been 3 years now and I am really satisfied! Next, I want to try them for long walks in the forest. I love them because I believe they have the potential of being great multitasking barefoot shoes.

I ordered this shoes and I had to ask for a replacement because the right one was way narrower than the left one, they took too long to get me the replacement and in the end, one of them was still narrower than the other, I just decided to keep them, but to be honest, I expected something better.

Nothing a drill won’t fix with one or two tiny holes. Problem is if you have dry feet and step in water it will come in too.

I don't, personally, step out of water and just stand completely still. The water will train as you continue walking.

I was gonna buy this shoe until I realised it doubled in price... Id rather wear thongs I get for $15 and not care that much about the environment.
