Columbia University is a private Ivy League research university in the heart of Manhattan, New York City. The dorms were extremely spacious considering the rent cost of New York. The campus is walled off so it feels like you're separated from all the busyness and stress.

Scholarships for very good students and for students who have been accepted they good have the full tuition paid by the university, it depends on how much his or her parents earn
Usually living doesnât cost this much. Also, there are many cheaper alternatives to an expensive college. Many people live commuting distance from a state college and can live at home. If you get a scholarship, college is essentially free (besides 200-300$ for books). I go to a public college in Dallas and I get paid to go to my university because of my scholarship. My sister went to community college and transferred to an online school while working and it took her one year to become debt free. So yeah, there are some dumb kids who rack up student loans and get an art degree, but if youâre smart, you can save a lot on college.
Also European countries with âfreeâ college have about 10% higher taxes than the US and an extremely higher cost of living (letâs just say that a British 1000sqft flat built in 1970 is the same price as my Texan home that is 4000sqft and built in 2017), so youâre not paying for college, but youâll be paying for those facilities youâre entire life through your lifestyle and taxes.
Itâs all loans and it is how they trap us to work until we are too old to enjoy life.
