lol I was really scared when my battle started but then I realized I had I zapoeira which just kinda counters them all which I felt bad abt lol, but a very funni battle nonetheless, and yes... I didnt realize equality was a basic type move 😔

Multi hit moves are just built different
Theoretically, if you got all Durable trait Indigoos and gave them spiky thorns instead of determination jelly...
How would that work? Durable prevents the one-shot. Spiky Thorns hit the opponent when their move makes contact.
Scenario : Opponent uses an attacking move and takes damage from Spiky Thorns. Indigoo is left at 1 HP. Indigoo uses Equality, leaving the opponent at 1HP. Opponent uses an attacking move and takes damage, thus fainting OR Indigoo uses Fast Food. Spiky Thorns doesn't really do anything here. Bionotic with Nullify also nukes this.
Think of it as a Mold Breaker Pokémon against a Sturdy Pokémon compared to a Mold Breaker Pokémon against a Focus Sashed one.
@@max_violent2780 In the scenario, in case the opposing doodle uses a contact priority move, like Jet Strike, and outspeeds Indigoo's Fast Food, it would still guarantee the opposing doodle faints because of the spiky thorns. Also its obviously not going to have no flaws, like the Nullify Bionotic counter you pointed out. Im just saying I think it could be a bit more efficient than regular trait Indigoo.

If shell bell ever comes out, then indigoo will become a huge issue as it has durable AND priority. The reason why Aaron/Togedemaru isn't broken is because it lacked priority and other F.E.A.R mons needing to run focus sash. Meaning that if people lack a proper strategy to stop it, then it will be able to clean through teams.
We'll still have Acid Rain, Burn, Toxic (Diseased) and multiple hit moves... But yes, that would be a menace.

Determination handband is a chance and doesn't work that well. Durable isn't dt jelly it just halves the damage which with there low defenses wouldn't matter.
@@johnjohnjohnson7720 Durable is basically a Determ jelly but an ability. and the Headband gives a chance to not die when at 1HP for potentially another Equality.
