I always said that I'd never do a Alaska cruise but this changed my mind with the tour you showed everyone.

I agree 100 % with your assessment of the Nieu Amsterdam seven day Alaskan Cruise. I took that cruise this past September with the Denali add on. It was the end of the season, weather was miserable and most of the Denali staff had already left for the winter. The lodging , arranged thru Holland America, in Anchorage was sub par. The room was not properly cleaned. In fact, to me, the Denali add on was a waste of money. We could only go 14 miles into the park on our Tundra tour. The tour we were promised was changed on us. The National Park busses were shut down for the season. The park shuts down on Sept. 15th. We arrived on the 17th. Don't waste your money on a late season Danali add on. Food is not included and meals are expensive. Only a few places were open and required reservations. Reservations were all booked up. We walked in without reservations and were seated in the pub. I liked that. Same menu, casual dining .
I promise...no tears! Dang, I lied! Bitter sweet.But, there is no place like home! ....And a big hug from Mom! Safe travels home! Hold on tight to all the amazing memories! Hugs from Maumee!

Weâve really enjoyed your series of videos from Alaska. On todayâs video we saw our grandson in the pool in a long yellow swim top and husband we think we saw in the hot tub. Also saw my husband playing pickle ball. He was in a black hoodie. So cool. Thanks so much for sharing. Excited to watch more of your other videos.

I loved this cruise! Alaska is beautiful. Ketchikan was my favorite. The cruise line would be more to my liking now that Iâm 68. I did cruises in my early years. I love the bald eagles đŠ but they are the national bird of the United States. Thanks for sharing each day!

Watching from a Princess cruise ship in Alaska. Have done Holland to Alaska & loved the traditional cruising. Main dining was wonderful!!! Princess is a prettier ship with lots to do! Buffet is larger than Holland. I enjoy both & would do both again but agree with Dawn that our balcony cabin on Holland was my favorite place & saw so many whales

Ok you convinced me. I was on the fence about taking a cruise. The southern ones didn't really appeal to me,but after watching your vids I decided I wanted to go on an Alaska cruise. We've booked a cruse on a Holland American for the middle of Sept.

Guys, that was amazing footage of the tour of the ship, the spectacular sunset, the food. You did such a nice job videoing all of it. Felt like I was there. Those cakes were amazing! Your comments and evaluation of the ship and the whole cruise was interesting. Sounds like Holland America runs a tight ship and keeps everything clean and perfect. Thank you Will and Dawn for including your subscribers in your cruise to Alaska adventure. There is no chance in hell that I'll ever be able to take a cruise, especially one to Alaska, or the Caribbean, or Hawaii, so it goes without saying that I really appreciated your videos. At times it almost felt that I was really in Juneau, or on the cruise ship. If you actually take a cruise to Hawaii, I hope you share the adventure with your subscribers!

I love getting my breakfast delivered to my room. I have been to Hawaii 10x. I would not recommend a cruise. Get a tour like Pleasant Hawaiian tours and book multiple islands. I enjoy walking the resorts in the morning and late evening with all the fragrances of Hawaii.

Loved sharing your cruise. Brought back great memories from last June and really makes me want to go back to Alaska! I loved the burgers at the Dive Inn, the scooped ice cream, and my favorite meal onboard was grilled salmon.

Thereâs no first or second class on Holland America! One of the things I love about it. Those cabanas you saw can be rented by the day or week by any passenger. Some people who have inside cabins like to splurge on a cabana for glacier days.
Such an amazing trip. I have never entertained the idea of a cruise but your videos have changed my mind. The cruise is perfect. Hope you were not too sad it ended. Cheers

The shows to me wasnt nearly entertaining the other two. Since seeing your three cruses I want to surprise my mom and take her on one. Id have to use a wheel chair. So which one would you recommend to take her on with me? Oh I hope y'all go live this Sunday I am finally off work. â€â€â€
All cruise lines will accommodate wheel chairs. Get a handicap room and let the cruise line know of your concerns.

THIS cruise would have been MUCH more to my liking than the others you went on because.......................we are OLD! LOL The "lack of entertainment" you mention would have been fine with us and we would have spent the majority of our time soaking in the beauty of the sea and the Alaskan view and the whales and so on.
