DO NOT TRY THIS AT HOME! A couple in the USA died recently as a result of trying this type of project.
@Lemon Head well if they had any sense they wouldn't have left it unattended.
@@guynumber3100 anything could have happened if not for their complacency about procedure, sure if they had some sense they would have not left it unattended but they can do this fatal error imagine the other things they did wrong, perhaps they didn't even wear ppe during the "experiment" or they used a more higher voltage, or the worst of it all is that they were doing this indoors which consequentially burned their house down along with them, if they can't handle this job properly or have any basic grasp on safety procedures then imagine everyone else who isn't professed in this sort of job and are simply doing it because its "trendy" people who have no idea about carpentry and value views over anything trying to do this and failing miserably, a dangerous trend like this should always have a disclaimer unless you want regular people to try this out and getting themselves killed or injured in the process because they saw your vid and thought it was cool and that it was trending one day, if you don't want to take accountability for their actions resulted from their thought process after watching your videos then a simple disclaimer and maybe a tutorial could have sufficed as to avoid such things from happening because we cannot deny that this is a dangerous job and the fact that it has become a trend is concerning and people should and must be educated no matter what
@Lemon Head what is suspected is that they were already dead when the fire started. You just have to touch the wood to die instantly. And your partner to touch you. Once dead, you can't do anything to impeach the fire.
@@traphimawari7760 yea simply need disclaimer for sure
People die doing all sorts of things. Maybe it should be called extreme woodworking. You should always take care with anything that involves electricity and fire. If you're talking the proper precautions this doesn't have to be deadly.
People have been getting electrocuted and dying trying to do this.
@@lucky7even622 That applies for anything though. Doesn't make it safe

Surely anyone who does this means they are electricians as a chosen profession right? Hmmm, seems dumb to try something knowing nothing about the dangers lol. Social media clowns see something cool and then say I can do that, and instead of learning about it, they look for the quickest way to get to and end result and then get hurt. Also, this guys video is doing multiple things wrong in preserving the wood burn design? Like sanding after… you lose the detail and much more… this is very entry level stuff
I was trying to tell the same thing some people loose their life doing this waste
@@brandonfoster1371 but where is the art you guys are very professional of laziness
Fun fact, this fun new trend has resulting in hundreds of hospitalizations and at least 4 deaths
A video I saw recently put the death toll into the dozens.
Not fun at all.
It's called natural selection. Those kind of people are the reason coffee cups have "caution hot" written on them and desiccant packs say "don't eat."
@@eric4seasons not quite. For instance, the idea that the lady who spilled coffee on herself was to blame was actually a PR campaign by McDonald's after the lawsuit to stigmatize lawsuits against companies as frivolous and only done by greedy people. If you look into it, their coffee was actually dangerously hot. Thay lady required skin grafts and was permanently disfigured. Plus, it was the jury, not her, that set the price of the lawsuit so high.
In this case, there have been a tonne of CZcams videos and websites describing this as a fun project with really cool results. They give basic instructions as to how to do it but don't provide any warnings, or inadequate warnings, and don't really tell the viewers just how much electricity is in the system. For most people, with a rudimentary education, it even a college education, they don't really understand electricity.
For instance, how many people would know, if someone accidentally touched the circuit and is being burned to death by it, that if a second person tries to help them by touching them in any way, they will end up being burned to death internally too.
Not a lot of people.
This is more to do with reckless videos making this look cool and not providing warnings about how this is likely one of the most dangerous things one can do.
The fact that so many people are sounding a warning in the comments is actually counter to the statement of darwinism in effect. The strong, or knowledgable, are trying to strengthen the weak, or those who don't know about the danger, by passing on the knowledge.
Tic Tok'ers, people with poor taste, or both? I cant see any negatives from this.
Remember everyone, you cant cuss in a video but if you show off something that could send 4x-8x the amount of electricity needed to kill through your body you’re fine.
Yeah because this was done by someone who isn’t a dumbass

@@vincentlee7359 😂
We really need to include basic electric engineering in public schools. Just enough so people have an understanding how transformers work, how voltage can be stepped up exponentially, and how none of the circuitry safety measures will trigger as there is no physical connection between the lower voltage input and the stepped up output.
Look for everyone that has bashed this man for his beautiful art your idiots . This man has courage and is obviously smart he took the chance of hurting himself to show the world how it's done . People are posting about how dangerous this is and, to a point, I agree. The person, doing this, doesn't appear to be close to the wood, when the current is energized and it would make sense that he used a remote switch. What I consider dangerous is the fact that, if applied, the safety aspects weren't mentioned.
