Absolutely one of the best voices from the last 20 years, what he does with the notes is unbelievable, the amount of control he has....
Brit Award, Grammy Award - this man deserves an award for his writing, his uniqueness, his style of music, mesmorising, emotional passionate songs, and the Genius he is.
I would love a Grammy for James before a BRIT award were given to him. I do not know why British Music Industry underates James the way the do.

Anyone else notice the show has screwed him here? He's miming the studio version. He has a better voice live and would be surprised if that was his decision to mime so it must have been a last minute glitch with the live equipment? All of his previous appearances are live and his performance is all the more better for it

He is an amazing talent. I don’t understand why he’s miming, it’s not the first time I’ve seen him mime it’s really disappointing.
Maybe he’s just preserving his vocals for his live acoustic shows, surely singing this song over and over will cause tired vocals

@@TheWanderlovers Alot of TV shows use playback for performances. I know i dont get it either. Usually they'd add a live vocal over playback instrumentation but this whole thing is playback. Weird, we all know James can sing better live, so we'll hear him playing it eventually.

@@Jennah0908 he always was a pure live singer!! Now most of the time he uses autotune/pitch correction crap🤦

Also, the usage of autotune isn't because he can't sing anymore, it's an artistic choice. You can like that change in style or not but it's no "fake"
