The phrases "what if" and "if only" are often used for regret or to dream of a seemingly better reality...but if you adopt a more fruitful perspective, you can use the phrases to see what you were saved from instead. Regret can be inescapable, but when we wonder "what if" that regret has the potential to turn into something worse. Why does "what if" open the doors to Shaytan, and what are positive ways to use "if only"?

brother. you can help by boycott. boycotting brands that support the killing of innocent lives. Example: Nike, McDonalds, KFC e.t.c. You are playing a part by not buying from these brands. They fund their money to Israel. And it does make a difference. Starbucks in the Middle East lost more than 7 million dollars just because people are boycotting. It doesn’t matter where you are based in the world right now. Keep researching brands that support these types of causes that should be boycotted.

This one ties in nicely to yesterday’s episode of people who cross your path and are placed there by the qadr of Allah. We could say what if I had never met this person then my life would have been different or we could say Alhamdulillah I met this person and because of that I am a different person. JazakAllah Khayr for this series. I will be going back and watching this one for a long time. This series has so many lessons that you can’t take them in all at once. And some of them we might not need right now because we are not facing that specific situation where the message would resonate with us. Definitely a keeper.

Recently, I was really down. And lot of "what ifs" in head. Maa shaa Allah, after praying tarawee, I saw this video. I felt that Allah gave me answer thru this video. Alhamdulillah.
Subhan'Allah, Hajj 2022 I met with an accident in Mecca 😢I broke my leg...needing a metal plate in my leg and not being able to do the Hajj rituals...but Shukr Alhamdulilah as there is a higher purpose for this as I know Allah s.w.t wanted ease for me😢So I endured Arafat day...only to be hospitalised again with being in icu....Allah wants ease...so he gifted me with sickness on this blessed day...we don't realise Allah s.w.t is in full control of our lives...even if we don't agree with the outcome....😊Have Tawakal....Allah gives us numerous chances to turn back to him...run in that direction

I always used to say that just if I didn't have a knee injury, I would have been able to do this and this. I then accepted it. I always used to say that just if I haven’t met this person, I would have so on... but I also accepted fate. Once you accept fate, you pretty much won't think about what if. I guess because I always thought what if, I just gave up and dealt with what I can do now with what I have.

For past few months i was not in good mental state. I had my insecurities hitting me hard and because of the i behaved in a certain way with people arround me and then i tried to change myself but by that time those people behavior changed with me and somehow Allah removed them from my life and now im left with regret. I cry and think i wish i hadn't said this or that. I think i will not meet good people now.

Don’t say “If I hadn’t done that then wouldn’t have happened” instead say “Allah did what he has ordained to do”
If opens the door to SHAYTAN because this if convinces you that if you had done something different, or if someone didn’t exist, or a certain circumstance didn’t arise then the decree of Allah would have been different, but it’s never going to be different, and this can make you hate yourself and others, and make you hate the world or Allah, so your head with the spinning if will become the PLAYGROUND of shaytan, so when you hear the first if say “this is the qadir of Allah”
If only removes all contentment from your heart and you can’t be grateful
Even your mistake was a decree of Allah, like you messing up in your interview, but still getting the job, qadir of Allah
But the good ifs are like “if Allah didn’t help me then, I wouldn’t be here now” that causes you to be grateful
