Bravo! Dimash won first place for this week's episode with this performance. He also won first place for week 1 (SOS) and week 6 (Adagio). If you have a chance you may want to go back and watch the end of this video (you don't need to react to it, just something I think you might like to see). As Dimash is bowing and thanking the band and maestro he catches a glimpse of something out of the corner of his eye. It's Dimash's dad! His dad flew in from Kazakhstan to surprise Dimash and stayed hidden until after Dimash finished singing so as not to make Dimash nervous. Dimash is very close to his family and at this point he had been away from them for 3 weeks. Dimash gets off stage and Bear hugs his dad lifting his dad off his feet. A few seconds later the camera follows Dimash and his dad backstage and Dimash asks his dad if he did OK. Typical humble Dimash. Thank you, Gabriel!

I have listened to Dimash 6 times now, and he does absolutely nothing for me at 75. I have experienced most of the great vocalist of our time and he is not in that category at all. I get no chills, no loss of breath, nothing from his contortions and freakish sounds. This performance leaves all to be desired, and nothing worth experiencing. Cómo dato adicional te diré que en los Concursos Chinos una de las normas es que todo sea en vivo : musica, coros y por supuesto el vocalista.
Ésta canción la escribió un cantante ruso que se llama Vitas. Dimash la cambió bastante y aumentó el número de modulaciones.
