Awesome video, this helped me get through CR the very first time at 13k IL as a pretty weak SW. Ofc, the other important part to getting through CR is going with a really good team, too. I didn't think you spoke too fast and I hate most things, but I really liked the music.
Just done my 1st castle run on xbox, took 56mins but we got it done. Was 1st time for all of us.
Kinda learnt the mechanics but I found your video for more info n a better understanding (even tho I dont play sw) grwt video n v good narration 👍

I just beat it for the first time with a good group that carried me. I didnt get anything good from it amd I got both chests, and rerolled 3 times on both :c

There's no way a random group can run this in the queue
Lol there was a way for me. I joined a random group in Expert Random queue yesterday, to my surprise found a good team, we finished CR, was my fastest run, even faster than with premades and I only spent 5 scrolls, much less than in other runs.
You got lucky asf, I've NEVER gotten to get thru CR cuz no1 knows nor WANTS to know nor DO the mechanics for CR, so when I get randos, they just spam, get pissed that it isn't working, then rage-quit like dipshits
I did it!! I joined an epic dungeon for the daily astral diamonds, after the sisters boss battle 2 of our party members left, luckily the other 2 and I knew what we were doing, we went up until the giant armour guy and had the good fortune of having a tank join. Beat him, made it all the way to Strahd, took 3 tries and 2 other people left but we refilled and eventually we did it, we beat castle ravenloft with all randoms :D
@@TheLordDarkrai wish i could, but truth be told, i may never even get to run Ravenloft, not even once, as no1 WANTS to run it. I've already forgotten everything i saw in this vid & tbh ... No point in me rewatching it as I'll probably never get to practice it. Sides, no1 wants a non-rich non-whale that's only 19.5k, as opposed to 28-32k iL., in their party anyway
@@drakeyaeger7939 don't give up man, I have tried ravenloft so many times before this when I was around 19k too. Now I'm a bit stronger but tbh the most important thing is that you know what you're doing and you help the team. Don't give up even if people leave. There is no time limit so just refill and keep going :D

hello I have a problem already reported without success on this quest, it does not let me pick up the sword that is planted in the ground in the middle of the path that leads to the castle ... is it a bug?
Where is this tome you're supposed to have? Is this a campaign thing, or is it in the dungeon somewhere?
This game looks more like super smash brothers than D&D. Fuck this game. It should have been NWN 3.

Whenever I get sucked down into the nightmare I die every time I get stunned. Is there any way to avoid that? Usually have to use at least 3 scrolls
A helpful tip I was told was to wait before you use a scroll. If you go down once, wait until the last second to use a scroll to give your team the most time to pull you back up while you can't go down again.
Interesting helpful guide. In my last run full of glitches, the sunsword had full or almost full charge for most of the fight but almost in the end, just before the bubble phase, Strahd made a special attack that threw me all the way to the other side of the room, causing the sword charge to reach 0%. It started gaining AP slowly, was almost at 50% and only a few seconds later he did the same attack a second time, removing almost all AP. Do you have any idea how to avoid or predict these attacks? How to recharge the sword, keep it fully charged as the bubble phase starts? Reading another guide, seems like the duration of Sundrenched Aegis (daily) depends on how much charge it has, maybe there is also a minimum charge which bellow that value, it won't even be possible to cast bubble?
Not sure. When it comes to his attacks, he has a couple basic ones. The one that I'm aware of that pushes you back is a counter attack. He kinda poses and waits for you to hit him, when you do he leaps into the air and pushes everyone back. If that one wasn't it I have no idea. As far as the Sunsword's charge goes I'm not sure. I've never had the issue of not having charge. I do know, that if the bubble ends prematurely you can usually just spam 1 and it'll recast. No idea what's going on behind the scenes or why it works like that.
+Charisma thanks. Btw, someone in my guild gave me a good idea today, I want to try that on my next run, I'll share with you in case you want to try. He reminded me of that great armor enchantment, soulforged, using one of those, we can save a few scrolls since soulforged will ressurrect 1 time before a cooldown.
Soulforged makes CR a lot easier, but honestly you'll still need lots of scrolls. I always run Soulforged tbh, but I can see why if you didn't it would be worth swapping.
Great video do templock nite to have 100%AP or is only 100%AP for sw dps ?
Templock doesn't need 100% AP, but it's nice to have. Brood spams for extra damage and healing is nice. I use DC Sigil, but if no one else is running it you should be using wheel and giving fire to your main DPS.

probably. I pulled a bunch of music I like from various places and I think this song was in rocket league at one point. Not really into RL though, just the song. Music will be different in all the other videos though :)

If you use at least one scrum of life, that dungeon is not with it. Amy game that requires you to use real money consumables to complete a dungeon is not good. There are not bugs, all is intended by the devs, don't know what your item level is but if you died there, there's not a chance I will make it there since the CW that I main for fun sites when hanging around PE. So regardless of your guide, specify which classes are better used there, of course a CW that does when Rex growls is out of the question. How did you get 100% style pen? Humor me.
this footage is really old, from when the dungeon was new. It's a lot easier now (still not a walk in the park!) so I wouldn't feel discouraged!
On the note about there not being any bugs, everything is intended, I'm not sure. I've thought that for a while too, but I'd like to think the devs have good intentions. It makes me feel less abused by them when they mess up.
@@CharismaSW I main a CW, I die whenever a mechanic goes into effect goes on even if not in three room, like Hellboy standing outside the final arena, focus with his crush. Duffy in FBI when she screams, my DC is easy under geared and he cost die that stupidly, I stand next to orchids with the DC, my SW dies only when overwhelmed, when stand in aoe , so going to CR is out of the question for me, maybe at mod 20 but I doubt it. Those dungeons are not for the free to play, again they paw you all use scrolls, you don't get injuries,I do. Casual player don't apply. That kind of dungeon is a decrease for the game, with those glitches to abuse you and your wallet, They are intended to rush up your day. As much as you all defend cryptic, the company will do it's best to make everyone feel like a scrub.
Really, my 8 yr old sister listens to that music...made video unwatchable for me....Do you really want music in your vids if it makes the video unwatchable. Disliked.
