it's not about classic technique. classic technique is not the same across all genres of music, especially contemporary musical theatre. it has to do with her head, neck and her torso being anchored.
She didn't do it for me like I'm Here.. As in I will always love the Sherie Renee Scott version as my number one.. But this is incredibly well done and I would die to see this on broadway. or touring.

Because everyone's allowed their own opinion of a performance? If a composer's opinion was the only opinion that mattered, we'd see a lot fewer musicals close. For me, her vocal's good, but this is definitely not my favourite version of this song. For other people, it clearly is. Diversity of opinion is a good thing. :)
