- hysto, gyno, mood swings up the wazzooo, mad bad pains.
currently on testosterone 80mg weekly,
and tamoxifen 20mg daily (theyre doing a study talking about how its a mood stabilizer for a lot of people.. hah! not for me :[ ).
but yes. overall things aren't the end of the world. just need to get some of this craziness sorted out.

@MrImportrans their preferred treatment is stopping testosterone and starting birth control to prevent more cysts/etc. as you can see, not so much an option :[
@Johnson210000 is probably what the insurance company was suggesting when they stated that a FULL hystro was not indicated. Of course, that would still leave the other stuff and you would need to continue to get annual examinations as long as you continued to have that equipment.
Simple ovary removal is also a much lower risk surgery than a full hystro.

Cindy - I actually haven't read anything you've written over the years about why we shouldn't have tattoos. Instead of policing other people's bodies (I'm not a serial killer, mean, or rude in any way!) I spend my time helping folks try to be comfortable with theirs so that they can feel good and be the awesome people the are on the inside or outside or whatever, regardless of piercings, haircuts, tattoos or whatnot. I'm not here to show my tattoos. I simply have them.
My boyfriend had really really bad stomach cramps and pains at night. His family doctor referred him to a gyno and an GI specialist and never could find any direct cause. The gyno recommended a full hystorectomy based on a family history of uterine cancer. He's now almost 12 months post-op and hasn't had a cramp attack since.

I think this video (haven't seen your others, but I'm sure they apply) would be great for social workers, legislators, insurance reps, nurses, doctors, and really people from all walks of life to watch. I'm downright STUNNED at the cost of things and how insurance (a majority of the time) isn't willing to cooperate. This will be great for a LGBT group we're doing at a mental health facility! I'm really sorry to hear that things haven't gone to plan and everything but it's good that you're trying to remain positive and hopefully you'll be able to get this surgery sooner rather than later. Keep your chin buddy, I"ve been through uber traumatic hell for the last month with a bad relationship breakup and overall "life in toilet" depression all the way around. Yet as usual you make me feel better listening to your vids and how you try to stay positive through it all. Wish I had the cash dude, I'd pay it all to get ya feeling better. bro. i know how you feel about mood swings, i've been on sustanon for 9 months and after the 3rd month my emotional well being changed so much. Mainly because my doctors didn't get me in with the endocronologist before treatment and my blood tests after i finally got to see him 6 months in showed at peak level that my testosterone level was 17 points higher than it should be! That was on 250mg every 4 weeks. now i'm on 200mg so they can stablize. But i feel you man, i've been up and down too!

Keeping you in my prayers, man. You've got a good heart and your strength/perseverance is admirable. This brief pain ain't got nothin' on you.
It sucks that you have to go through such pain. You are a huge inspiration, both as a trans guy and as a human being and as I see it you deserve every happiness that could possibly ever cross your path.
Stay optimistic and don't give up on getting your surgery. You obviously need it.

Damnnn ,it sucks to hear that you're insurance isn't covering the surgery. I hope you're able to figure something out and get it done elsewhere, even if you'll prob have to pay out of pocket. It just sucks that it's causing you so much pain.

I just saw your video and three weeks ago i had surgery to remove my cysts. Due to my cysts being so large, my doctor placed me on a shot called Lupron depot what is does is stops the estrogen production in the body causing the cysts to shrink. Google Lupron depot and also ask your doctor about it.

i finally got the exam doneearly this month and u know what helped? seeing rene pene have it done on TV. I figured if he is strong enough to let it be televised, i can do it and its for my health.

I am sorry to hear that you are suffering from Poly Cystistic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS). I can sympathize with you because I recently had PCOS (I am an intersexual whose gonads contain both testicular and ovarian tissue). Unfortunately, the presence of high T levels does increase the growth of PCOS. You could eliminate the current problem b just havingthe ovaries removed. Dude, my mom had to take Tomoxofiin (sp?) and she had wicked mood swings because of it. Awful medication. Sorry dude, I hope things start to get better for you.

Didn't u say that insurance would cover it if it was NEEDED. well three doctors said u did need it to get rid of the pain.
Dude im sorry this stuff hurts. I understand the cists they hurt a lot. I have PCOS and they burst and then i get new ones its horrible. I know you were talking about taking your SJW and not being able to with the new meds and im totally anti mood stabilizer and it took me along time to get over it but they really help alot and these issues should go away and then you can stop mood stabilizer ya know, Also congrats on falling inlove with your bestfriend its pretty awesome!
Can't you get the preferred treatment (according to your insurance, obviously, since there are three docs that say the hysto is the preffered treatment) for this instead of a hysterectomy for now? At least you would be rid of the symptoms and then you might do a hysto later. I mean, I get you would want the fewest possible surgeries but going on in pain doesn't seem to cut it either.

Hey, firstly i hope things start looking up for you soon :) ive been a viewer for quite some time but never really comment because you do a good job of explain ... and whatever you hold back is basically stuff that is a NEED TO KNOW basis .. lol im cool with that.. also im canadian ( i dont know about insurance) but if money is the issue, i dont know how you feel about accepting help but there is always online pledge that your viewers can help and be apart , i for one would love to help :)
Since you are in college, are you able to maybe take out some extra money in student loans to help pay for the hysto? I know it'd be debt you'd ultimately have to pay back but sometimes you get lower interest rates that way and won't have to pay it off until later. 50k is quite a lot though, and obviously you won't be able to take out that much, but taking out a little a semester might help... have you checked out Dr. Christine McGinn in Philly?? She does a hysto for $7,500! she may be the answer to your problem, and since she is trans she will obviously be understanding. good luck!

Why do you care so much about what people do to their bodies? Really, it does not effect you AT ALL. Take all the time and effort you're putting into this 'anti-tattoo' protest and put it into YOUR life, and respect the lifestyle of others.

I know it sucks, but dude, in Greece we don't even have ANY insurance on that subject! We'll have to earn like....way too many money and then probably travel abroad in order to have a sex change (or any operation of that kind).
So.. Try to earn the money and DON'T ever give up. :D
Also, have you ever tried to become a youtube partner? I see that you have 12,000 subscribers. That's a good amount and you could prob apply to become a youtube partner and it seems like you have a good chance of getting accepted. That way you'd at least be able to make some money by putting ads on your videos.
If you don't plan on doing a chipin acct to raise money, getting ads on your page would be a good way. You've put a lot of good trans info out there and you deserve some kick back in $.
