The midpipe def clears up that rasp. Its prob a top three things to do to the S55 platform.
Great video love it. If you have a Non-Res Midpipe and Catless downpipes installed why do people not recommend this normally (due to too much raspiness) it sounds great to me??
Ordered my AA mid pipe - gonna have stock downpipes and muffler (non-comp) paired with the non-resonated equal length exhaust. Haven't found/heard this setup. Lmk, should I make a video?

Hey, this is probably a very old topic by now but i noticed you using liquid molly 5w40. I have a 2018 M2 n55, should I be using 5w40 over 5w30?

Good call. I LOVED my N54 in the 135i. Have the 2021 M2 Comp on order now and this setup is a must. HATE the sound of the stock S55.
I cant remember a single person that said the F80 generation looked bad when it released! But the G80's front end looks bad and thats it! But the car its amazing!
I agree on the S55 thoughts. I was pretty lukewarm until a salesman let me start up an M2C last week- then I thought it sounded a whole lot better. Definitely can't encapsulate the IRL sounds thru a video. Also super excited to see how the S58 sounds on the M3/4 compared to on the X's. Just factory ordered an M240 so hopefully the S58 mods trickle down to the B58 - definitely gonna be keeping my eye out for what the G87 is gonna be like. Might be an [x]58 exclusive garage for me.
B58 is so fantastic there’s a lot out there for these motors
@@TJ-cw3mv Yeah I've ostensibly done a ton of pre-delivery shopping. I just think the offering's a bit more thin than your N55's. Idk, I know I can pretty much get to FBO (I won't but acknowledge I can), but maybe if there was a broader range in terms of companies I'd be happier. Though I suppose the continued use of the B58 platform should help with that.

You are spot on that everyone criticizes the styling of the new body styles and then they become 🔥 now as far as exhaust goes Akrapovic is the best sounding but unfortunately the most expensive on the market keep in mind full titanium anyways my 02.

AA midpipe is on my list... I'm starting off with the axel back first!! AA is the way to go for S55, sounds so good!!
Mechanic was revving it whilst it was still doing the cold start, hence why it wasnt burbling in the garage and sounded 'average'
Do the EL midpipe first. Trust me you’ll be amazed

Tempting though, because the AA pipe is cheaper, but the muffler on the M2c is so ugly!!
Currently have an AWE Track Exhaust on my F80, and I’ve been waiting for someone to post a decent video of the AA EL midpipe! Not gonna lie, might put on the stock exhaust again and just go for only the EL midpipes (the track exhaust was fun for a while but damn I feel bad for my neighbors everyday).
Combine the EL with the back section of the AWE

I definitely agree that everyone complains whenever a new bimmer design comes out and then they get over it, except for one: the Bangle-butt era. Even BMW had to tame it down and change it in LCI updates. It was never loved. I actually love everything about the new design except for the hideous grill. It'll be interesting to see if they change it up due to pressure. Great content, keep it up!

How did you get Apple car play? I have a ‘17 F82 M4 and it does not.
4 series got the LCI two years after the 3 series. 2016 3 series cars had the LCI with the carplay unity, M4’s didn’t get the LCI until 2018.

One of the better M4 exhausts, but still not the best I've heard. The problem with this one is the raspyness on de-cell. If that could be taken away, it would be really good. Plus it doesn't have alot of burbles.

He should have gone with resonated equal length if he's catless.
That is the resonated one. You can see the resonators on the rear pipes. I just installed mine.

As much as I love BMW I wouldn’t sleep on Audi. My friend has an RS3 stage 1 tune, he be putting m3s and m4s with fbo and tune to shame.
Rs3’s are awesome I don’t think they have taken the depreciation hit that the used m3s and m4s have so the prices are still up there. Also I think most of us bimmer guys just prefer the exterior look and styling of BMW in some cases.
Yeah until you take a corner 😅. Audi just goes straight (in the ditch), BMW goes sideways. I know what i prefer

Check my insta @bavoms. I’m running the EL on my M2 Comp. It’s by far the best sounding exhaust on the s55. It’s night and day!!! In my highlights I did a comparison to the single midpipe and still its crazy different! Even more so in person!
