Depending on your controller Lever or Leverless it can be as easy as going ok online finding the template of the layout of your controller. Getting the dimensions and just getting artwork that fits the size and cut although there ate websites that offer different art or you can send them a photo of what you'd like . Well hope that helped
It really sucks.... i have congenital mirror movement disorder... if you don't know what tht is lemme make a long story short.... whatever movement i make on one side of my body the other side mirrors... tht INCLUDES my fingers 😢 ugh i can't git gud at any fighting games because of this

Really its up to you. Whatever feels best yknow? Dont worry about optimization cause doing the more "efficient" way but youre uncomfortable will give you worse results than the "worse" way but youre comfortable with the controls
Think of it as using a keyboard. Your thumb is the space bar that you would jump with in 90% of games. The three movement buttons are your wasd keys. Hope this helps mentally.
What box is that? I’ve been looking for a bigger one or just one with more weight so it’s comfortable in my lap when I play. I’ve also been looking at smaller ones and thinking about just adding a lil weight to them but I have like a $160 budget and I want leverless bad

if you play on pc try to find a program that allows you to adjust button delays. may help you
