God I LOVED THIS GUY. EVERY SINGLE MOMENT HE HAS YOU TRUSTING HIM. Smooth-talking, smart, and quick on his feet. And it hurts all that much harder acknowledging that he betrayed you and your friends to save what remains of his family. AND HE'S BEEN WITH YOU THE ENTIRE TRIP- which makes this very conflicting.
I hated him from the very start😂

Makes me wonder how much of Bode was involved in the betrayal. What secrets he told or the lies he spun. I can see the why Cal has reasons to go after him. People died around Cal except for Bode. Gears turn at the thought of what really was going on after Bode revealed himself. Even though the Empire did terrible things in front of Cal, Cal didn't see this one coming. Thanks to anyone who reads this. [Reposted]
It was revealed he was the reason everyone got picked off one by one in Coruscant. Thats why he asked Cal the question he did about the previous rumors he heard like him fighting the Empire on Kashyyk. He was relaying all the information back to his superiors constantly, which is how they got ambushed so badly after they caught the senator.
Cal: When Kata sees what you've done for her, she'll understand.
Bode: I hope so.
I love that exchange since Bode has already made up his mind about betraying Cal. And also suggesting going to Tanalorr first so he can backstab Cal in secret. I like that he's looking for other angles the entire time and him tipping off the Empire was basically his hail Mary.
Fear and grief took him a long time ago….

It's a shame that bode turned on everyone.... He could've been this game series version of Han Solo.
Bode would've made a cool playable character too.
I really loved Bode, and I truly trusted him. So when he betrayed all of us and killed Cordova, I was in shock. I feel exactly like Cal, and I'm honestly so proud of him for giving Bode more chances just because of Kata. In my opinion, that only shows how much of an amazing and strong person he is. He's like a brother to me and him hurting breaks my heart. I don't know if anyone else feels this connected and related to Cal as I do, but I can really understand him. And I also broke in tears when Cere died 🥺❤️ but this and Fallen order is litreally two of the best games ever in my opinion. Stay safe out there y'all! 💖 (Also I really hope there will be a trilogy to this, I would die for that!)
It was difficult finding out Bode was a Jedi and working for the Empire to keep his daughter Kata safe. While I understand that the way he did it was still wrong and went against everything a good father stands for. Bode vs Cal was like with Anakin vs Obi-Wan, brother vs brother. It was a lot to take in. But at least Cal tried to save Bode even after what he did he understood to an amount considering how Dagan Gera was betrayed similarly even though he did questionable things the Jedi council of the High Republic era made him that way by abandoning Tanalorr that started his path to the darkside. Just like how the Empire made Bode into what he was after the purge.

After Coruscant I knew something was fishy with Bode. Cal was waaay too trusting. I would’ve never invited Bode to Jedah or Koboh.
