I guess some things are better done manually.
Maybe magic and technology takes things to literal and she doesnt want to flunk somebody for a couple spelling errors.
Or maybe some people have such a bad handwhriting that even magic and technology cant figure out what it says so she has to figure out what it says itself.
Maybe because last time she use magic to do some writing work, she sets them on fire. Imagine how it would be when it's grading students assignments

starting to think Ben's "prank" of leaving the horas printer on overnight is paying off, seeing as how one dies every episode
I have to say that I love the lore added to charmcaster and hex, as it changes the two from being villains to merly being victims to young Ben’s “punch first, ask questions later”. Now it explains that hex’s first appearance wasn’t an evil mage stealing stuff, but a brother gathering as many magic artifacts as possible to fight adwadtia (I can’t spell his name), when Ben gets in his way it causes him to loose sight of his original goal, the rage over losing his brother making him seek revenge, only this time on a more immediate target: Ben. In fact in charmcaster’s debut episode hex said he’d have the power to defeat his enemies, which would have been the turtle, and ruling the world could have just been revenge on Ben. Honestly I love this lore, it’s now my new headcanon
I was surprised to see a more kind carefree side of Hex with his brother during his youth

Yep. And then when in Omniverse we see Hex mellow out. His home dimensions is saved yet he has all these books that he had collected and artifacts that he was going to use to take over Earth, create his army, and free his people. But now, he doesn’t need to do that. He can finally be whatever he wants to be. Which is a professor of magic history and teach a new generation of magic users. Which can be seen as him trying to replenish the world of magic users after the old one had been killed during the dark times.

I honestly wish And Beyond was given more focus then 5yl itself. The worldbuilding and explanations that it reveals, from the culture, planets, and lore it adds is honestly more impressive and lovable then anything else the Ink Tank have made.

Personally I enjoy the "And Beyond" series the most, followed up by "The Drawing Matrix" (I love their Ultimate redesign/ creation series), then the 5YL comic. Everything else is still epic though.
The motion comic elevated 5YL to me.
I thought I recognized Darkstar when I saw him, but then he started doing magic and I thought perhaps it was someone else who'd been similarly disfigured. But nah, looks like he's finally gotten past that hunger issue of his and is learning to use mana in more creative ways. Good for him.
I think it's just that he's on the Mana equivalent of an IV drip or smth.
And he finally got back on good terms with Charmcaster

Knowing the pattern of “Hints” that are dropped at the end of each episode, I predict that the next “And Beyond” episode will go over the Andromeda Galaxy, seeing as Addwaitya is Terraspin’s race.
Hmm... yeah it does make sense, And Beyond I don't think has touched on the home planets of the Andromeda aliens yet.
Man. Adwaita's a straight-up crumb bumb! Spellbinder saves his Oogway-wannabe ass from death and he returns the favour by stealing the Alpha Rune, taking over the whole dimension and killing everyone in the kingdom? I can't even begin to imagine what terrors will be unleashed now that he's teamed up with Zs Skayr!

I love the 5YL canon so much because Ben is a capable superhero that takes his job seriously but still gets his kicks in. All the new aliens are great. Gwendolyn and the other characters are amazing too.
It would be pretty neat to have Gwen do the guiding part here cause’ Horos is a tech after all, maybe too much mana will interfere with his functioning or something.
If it did then The Ultamatrix would've been useless in the 2 episodes Ben went there

Speaking of mana I always wanted to see a Ben 10 character combine both Technology and Magic together to the point where both are pushed to the limits. We could get stuff like Mana light Sabers, a Mana Proto Tool, Mana power armor that uses the rock monsters rock skins as armor and a mana spaceship that can go to Ledgerdomain. Imagine a mana turret that shoots spells. Imagine a Galvin or Weapon-master that uses mana for their inventions/weapons
So like one of the old school final fantasy games (I can't remember which one) but they had magic armor and weapons fueled by the very lives of summon spirits
I know that ledgerdomain is its own dimensional plane, I assume it wasn't affected by the anhilaarg?
@@caseymcdonald9714 Yes think games like Shadowrun and Warhammer 40k or even some Marvel characters (like Dr Doom) which combine both Magic and Technology(Shadowrun doesn’t really combine it in the way you think)

Absolutely fantastic. The expanded universe explanations of Michael Morningstar / Darkstar being the descendent of someone who was a magic user that became over reliant on mana tech, causing their offspring to become mana deficient and essentially creating a sub-species across all mana-wielding species is brilliant. The explicit details showing that Gwen has been active as a positive force in the magic community and has her own set of relationships rather than just being Ben's sidekick is great. And the slowly progressing plot of Zs'Skayr and Addwaitya building suspense and curiosity is achieving it's purpose. I need more.

Everything was amazing and perfect! I love the backstory and history. And I love that Charmcaster is not King for the "girl power" wok but to honor her father. And nice to see what became of Michael Morningstar.

Holy dang this was an amazing video, I figured there were many things to say I could make a list, so I will:
I love Gwen's voice the VA did an amazing job.
I love how Ben is visiting his kids.
HORAS was halairious in this episode.
Called the Soarnitho species being shown.
Like the detail of the Soarnitho calling Ben "grabby" as Ben likely trying to get Soarnitho in his roster.
idk who the new girl is but she is fine. You know like a really cool and funny character.
Love the origin for Addwaitya.
I'm thrilled we got to see Michael again.
Charmcaster was awesome and looks fine. You know as in a great redesign.
And that ending was hype, can't wait to see more of this incredible series.

The production and quality of And Beyond has improved so much. This episode is one of the best and my favorite right alongside the saiyan and kryptonian episode

I mean it's kind of implied in 19:02 with knowing the "true name" of spells in order to make them effective or work properly.
Maybe Gwen's "turbo" having random effects is her abilities clashing with the fact she keeps using the "wrong" name for how the spell is supposed to go?
it's probably a reach, but hey this series thrives off speculation. :P
I loved this episode.
I liked how it broke the formula by having other characters info dump about Leger Domain while still having Horus be our guide.
I love all the amazing art in this, the backgrounds, flashbacks, and character designs were all fantastic. I especially liked seeing Horus from so many different angles.
And I especially loved how it furthered the plot of these episodes.
Everyone involved in this did wonderfully and deserve all the praises this video is getting. I'm very excited for the next one!

The Interesting Thing About This Episode Is That Up Until This Point,Horas Was the One Telling Us the Information About Certain Planets and Species In the Ben 10 Universe. But Since He's Never Been To Ledgerdomain,He Needs the Lore and History To Be Taught To Him By the Residents Of That Dimension. It's Actually Kind Of Cool Seeing Someone Other Than Horas Tell Us Stuff That We Didn't Know Before,and It's Almost As If We Are Learning Alongside Him.Also,Michael Morningstar As Charmcaster's Emissary?Did Not See That Coming.

Now about Eatle, the two iterations of him in UA and Omniverse are well, very different from each other, so to solve that, I suggest maybe iterations are subspecies, like Murk and Perk Upchuck.

King Charmcaster is pretty rad. Using the reboot deisgn for her as a younger child is a really neat touch
i love these! i like everything about this channel but And Beyond is just at another level! and this time we get to know about magic?? nice!
This one is so very well put together with the little nods to other series that are hidden in the backgroud or stated outright just make it more fun to rewatch to see what you missed the first time around. Good job. The art is great, the voices are great and this world feels alive. I've seen people complain about Charmcaster being a King but if you really pay attention to her story you understand why she calls herself King (it's to honor her father). Spellbinder was king and now so is she. It reminds us how much she cares about her father and how now she's getting the chance to make him proud of her after her mistakes. (At least that's my take away.)
Holy moly the quality of this one! Voice acting everywhere and it feels even more alive with Horus interacting with so many people.
P.s Also loved how you gave an original for Morningstar in a sense. With the that whole thing with Cursecrafter and the hand symbol. So Ben and friends were effectively beating up a cripple every time they fought him, hu? Weird to think about it like that.

Well in Ben 10 lore it’s where a lot of Mana but most certainly Magic comes from.
It’s also where Ben 10 and friends got killed!
I was really looking forward to this and I wasn’t disappointed: Ledgerdomain is a place that could have such an interesting backstory and lore so I’m glad it was given something and Charmcaster was given more. I liked the “Fly of Despair” bit and Kuro just appearing.
it looks like Zs'Skayr has a new Ally. I can't wait to see what happens next.
Also, you think you can have Horas visit the Nicktoon universes, specifically the ones that Danny have appeared in? (Fairy World, Bikini Bottom, Planet Irk, etc.)

Love all the new lore you added to expand Ledgerdomain! It feels like a proper fantasy style world!
All the new characters and old returning characters look great! Happy to finally see the Ithibis that served as Soarnitho's DNA donor and what they're all about!
It seems like the idea of redeeming Charmcaster was more than just a hypothetical for one of Kuro's breakdowns, as her portrayal here seems to hint at the fact that she was redeemed at some point before this And Beyond episode.
It seems that the Zs'Skayr arc is coming to its finale and I can't wait to see how it concludes!
She certainly mellowed out, but she's still got that Charmcaster edge that makes us love her so much.

Really looking forward to this, if anyplace could use explaining it's Legerdomain. Kuro's episode review highlighted a few of its aspects, of course, but I can't wait for that notification to hit.
Things I liked about to fast &beyond;
-the drawing and posing of all the characters have defiantly evolved, top notch
-the lore building was quite interesting, instead of a in-depth look into species by species, we got a lore dump of the backgrounds and stuff I’d imagine to be actually canon
-the new characters cursecrafter and Caladrin were amazing new additions and I love how they look and are there memorable
-also seeign horos interact with characters defiantly brings some funny moments
-I love the areas, specially that there’s a magic black market in ledgerdomain
-backstory for adwaicha and charm caster be on point!
-I loved how charmcatser got reformed and feels at peace with her past
(Also that vein nod at Michael was amazing lol)
-love the emphasis on the magical artifacs like the ruin
-and that cliff hanger sets up a lot for this mini series next to the actual 5yl

If the Necronomicon ex Mortis or The grim horn fell into that realm it’ll be quite a hell raiser in that universe because all the dark magic from that book .
Am loving how fleshed out this series is becoming, moving beyond just fictional informational videos and into its own narrative
I’ve only seen CC for like 5 minutes, and I already love her, she’s an amazing personality with a killer design
The Charmcaster redesign is soo good, it's like combining the best aspects of all her previous designs, with expanding on the tribual marks on her face from Omniverse, the long white hair from UAF, a colour scheme more remincient of her original and Ominverse outfit, combined with a new outfit that's tighter that shows maturity, and of course the crown. It all works together so well as an older Charmcaster ❤.
Oh and Gwendolyn is great too, the librarian look for her also fits super well and her sweater in the thumbnail looks very cosy

I've been vocal on the breakdown videos that I didn't think much of the show's Ledgerdomain, was really just knock-off Null Void.
Upping the magical kingdom aspects was a good choice you made. Especially loved the Shen Gong Wu cameos!

The idea that different energies from different media are all just a different implementation of thr same energy is kinda genius.
Okay so to put it in real world terms, mana is the energy powering the magic, a rune is the battery storing the mana, a true name is the circuitry telling magic what to do, and a charm is a computer holding the circuitry for quick and easy use
