In my family there were 4 brothers who all joined the Georgia guard as volunteers. 3 of which died fighting sherman. The last one had to walk from the ruins of Atlanta to Augusta just to find his home destroyed. He never forgave sherman, he respected the union and recognized his defeat with honor, but to him sherman was a war criminal. Its scary how yanks and southerners respected each other more during the war than they do now, over 100 years later.
As a full blood native in modern America I can fully say with confidence that this is my favorite song, just simple tweaks to the lyrics and it fits the Native American hardship.
Yeah it's so hard living in a federally subsidized trailer park where work is optional. If only I could apply for perpetual welfare and experience this brave struggle myself!!
@@BurgertubeFounder Aye don't be saying that black people have that to they just didn't have to get genocided for it.
The Yankee flag represents a collusion of theft and fraud, enforced by death and luciferian lust. That's just how it is.
I have confederate ancestors who fought for the ole dixie army. I’m proud of my ancestors for protecting their heritage and land.
My great-great-grandfather lost 3 sons in the war. He never swore allegiance and did not fit his rights back. He was the commander of the country home guard, and even fought in a skirmish with some raiders. The killed the raiders and hung the ones who surrendered, because they were deserters. Proud of him. As you can now see, the wrong side won.
@@dtcdtc8328 The Aryan spirot is still alive. Our time is not yet up.
They'd have corrupted what ever side won but you're correct nevertheless.
I love the South. It’s my home.
I understand why Southerners fought.
Slavery is wrong.
Killing people and oppressing people for their race or religion is wrong.
I hate the union empire, but I’d fight any of you who want to oppress blacks or kill jews.

See…..
I dont fit in on either side.
DAMN! That is one hard-core, diehard song.
It's a cold-blooded song, but it represents the betrayal Southerner felt from their northern 'brothers' who asked them to fight three major wars for the US before " mr. Lincoln's" war
One of my ancestors that was in the SC Carolina Was Cavalry with Butler at the end. His unit never surrendered and he never took a pardon. I imagine he sang this song after the war.
I had ancestors who fought for the South God bless Dixie
We Were REBELS Once - And PROUD. Now, the lightweights have taken over, making us feel guilty for the past. SCREW THAT. Thanks for this version of this wonderful song.
Amen! Im proud my family fought the bloated empire this once great country has become. Down with DC AND DOWN WITH TYRANTS
May the Lord bless every defense of freedom, the constitution, and the Confederate flag. May the Lord bless the states that are: South Carolina, Mississippi, Florida, Alabama, Georgia, Louisiana, Texas, Virginia, Arkansas, Tennessee and North Carolina. Kentucky and Missouri
@jerryrockets6257 I'd believe they won the war long before I'd ever believe you!
@@jerryrockets6257 What exactly did "you" win? You lost 300,000 in battle. And the same people who clamored for making Juneteenth a holiday also claim that the slaves freed themselves! And look what they did to the statue of Hans Christian Heg.
The south will rise again❤
Hats off to the south as a native know what it's like fighting common enemy
@@burkefarrow8571 to the contrary it made me chuckle. Silly stories are cute.
Big Love for the CSA ! The South Shall Rise Again !
She's never fell. Proud Tennessean here. Entire family is Southern and each branch of the family fought and died for our beloved Confederacy. We only salute 1 flag and stand for 1 anthem. How many of yall can honestly say that yall still have the loyalty that's required to be a Southerner
Ain't nobody rising again. When you're down YOU ARE FUCKING DOWN! We...all of us are coal...and the exponential O'Henry irony?...the Testas will sit alone in Starbucks drive thrus w/out drivers or order takers.
My 3rd great grandaddy was at Shiloh in the Tennessee 27th!
Battle of bloody pond was fought off my 4 th great grandpa's property some confederate soldiers used his cabin for cover yankees blew his house up with cannons there's cannons in his yard on the battlefield. I wasn't sure but I've heard that he was in his 60 s in age and didn't fight in the battle himself but he rebuilt George cabin I'm a George also from what I've heard our family never owned slaves no need for cotton in the woods.
Thanks for sharing this! My Great Great Grandpa was at Shiloh with the Tennessee 47th Infantry. He lived through Shiloh and his unit moved on to Murfreesboro and The Battle of Stones River, where he was killed December 31, 1862. He was just a small farmer in West Tennessee and never owned a slave!
Excellent! Deo vindice from Georgia\m/
Proud Carolina native. Great great grandad fought with 51st regiment Ashpole Boys NC from May 1862 until wounded at Dewerys Bluff VA Dec 1864.
Ha
I was born in 1953 at Drewrys Bluff in a house built in 1812. It's gone now.
And I love being a good old rebel.
@@Left-Hookl-Lefty because you're a turd and don't have any ancestors worth knowing or mentioning doesn't mean other Americans don't.
I had neighbors that would bast this song when I was young. It oddly makes me nostalgic to hear it again so many years later.
Nice version of an ole tune! Good job!
Thought some lyrics for this version might be nice
I'm a good ol' Rebel, now that's just what I am
For this fair land of freedom I do not care a damn
I'm glad I fought against it; I only wish we'd won
I don't want any pardon for anything I done
I hates the Yankee nation and everything they do
I hates the Declaration of Independence, too
I hates the glorious Union that's dripping with our blood
And I hates their stripéd banner; I fought it all I could
Three hundred thousand Yankees are stiff in Southern dust
We got three hundred thousand before they conquered us
They died of Southern fever and Southern steel and shot
I wish it was three million instead of what we got
I won't be reconstructed: I'm better now than then
And for that carpetbagger I do not give a damn
So I'm off for the frontier fast as I can go
And I"ll prepare my rifle and start for Mexico
God bless the South .
I come from a long line of real rebels. From the Revolution to the War between the states. And all my people fought for the south. And we've fought in just about every damn war this country got us mixed up in, rightly or wrongly.
Dont get me wrong, Im pretty darn patriotic myself.
But if they keep pushing the little guy...

THIS IS A GREAT SONG ' THEY SOUND GREAT TOO
Exactly what I thought this was. Beautiful.
Of all my ancestors that were in the country at the time, not one of them put on a blue uniform.
Great, but some of us had East Tennessee relatives.... supported Lincoln and married their sisters
My 4 GG Uncle J. S Scarborough was killed at Culls Hill during Gettysburg he was a corporal in the 2nd Louisiana, my 4th grandfather was a captain in the 20th TX
Love it!
best version I've heard

Awesome Song

As an American loyalist, I approve this song.
I can respect that, but it's not like they have a valid monarchy now, much less back in 1530, when the decline truly kicked off.
❤
Ya'll got a lot more than 300k, and many more on both sides perished from war wounds, injuries, and sicknesses for years after.
I would loved to had ridden with Jeb Stuart and his men.

If you supported the colonies in the Revolutionary War you would support the South as well. Both wars for Independence from tyrannical governments!
I think its better without music. The only song ive heard like it
So Daddy
Why do we honor Robert e Lee if he was trying to defeat America
Son the reason we honor both the North and the South
is to try and have peace between both warring people
Son try and be a good American
however all that being said... slavery is not cool
Tribal Chiefs sold them, The English and Dutch bought them and ports in Boston and New York got rich with them. No, it was never right, but slavery was not a Southern invention. The north had the Irish and California had the Chinese; neither needed African slave
We were all Republican and my great great uncle got shot off his porch by the home guard for not fighting for the Confederates.....
So if military bases named after Confederate heroes are being renamed after modern American heroes, does that mean I will be stationed at Fort George Floyd or Fort Jeffrey Epstein?
Oh that's good! Yeah, it sickens me too to see what they are doing to our history, heritage and culture.
Anglo apologists
God bless Sherman
