Simple build and effective! I already have a WEN scrubber but I also have a box fan in my shop. Totally making this build! Can't have too much air filtration! 🤣 Thanks for the inspiration! You got yourself another subscriber! 👍🏻😊

Thanks for the video! I was thinking about building one of these just to add an extra air scrubber in my shop. I bought a WEN air scrubber which cost me about 240$ so someone watching might be thinking why bother with building your own? The filter cost is why. They are super expensive and I’ve put in far more money buying filters than the initial cost of the machine. This is a very inexpensive solution to a serious problem for us DIYers. Keep up the good work and thanks for taking the time buddy!

I was about to buy one too until I saw how much the filters are, they are ridiculously expensive.

I use a similar setup with a remote.

So I like the idea of putting in on the ceiling and having 4 filters but not having a top for it and just relying on having a perfectly flat ceiling to make a air tight seal. Air will go for the path of lest resistance so any gaps will have more air flow though them than the filters.

I completely agree. Ideally making an air tight box with removable filters is the best option. But I was trying to do it with just that one board and as easily as possible so anyone can do it. My wish is that people will realize how dangerous fine dust is and use my build as a starting point and improve it.

Pretty clever scrubber solution! And informative...dust collection and particle size make way more sense to me now. Thanks!!

Great build and I love that you left the fun of hanging it in. Sounds just like working in my shop lol

Use hot glue to secure the power cord where it exits.

Magnets on the remotes so you don't loose them.

The medical terminology counts. You need to google the word if you can not pronounce it. It’s not that hard
