- Hi all,
I'm Lori. Out here on Vancouver Island.... with a broken van.
Geez, I could use a break when it comes to the van. I've been out camping that one time, it was cold. Now it's nice and warm out... but the van is not going anywhere until this gets solved.
Anyway, having a van is tough, when you have no dough.
I hope to not talk about any issues with the van, ever again. But in the meantime, maybe something I said will be helpful to you. Hope so.
Thanks for watching.
I had an odd issue with my car cutting off also. Sometimes it would happen going uphill and even downhill. Then it started doing it when I would come to a stop at a light or even a sharp turn. Very strange. Found out it was just a fuel filter that had trash caught up in it. Changed that and the issue went away. Some vehicles have two filters on them. One is on the fuel line at the motor and the other was right before the fuel tank. I can only hope that could be part of your issue. However, if your vehicle is getting hot you need to take it to a shop right away. Could be something as simple as a thermostat stuck or needing replaced. Most decent shops can put your van on a diagnostic machine and determine the issue right away. It could also be a sensor for the fuel mix, They do also make diagnostic tools that anyone can use from home. Amazon sells these. There is a plug in port under your dash that they hook to. These things usually give you a code number and points out the issue right away. Just be sure you order the correct one for your vehicle. I pray you get this figured out cheaply. Best wishes going forward and so sorry to hear of your loss. My wife and I adopt many needy pets and give them and good forever home. We have lost so many over the years and it never gets any easier. Blessings to you!
Ya
It's that secondary one that goes overlooked.
Wow, thanks for all you do for the animals in need. My baby was a rescue from the streets of mexico. And i have 2 others as well (a cat and a dog). And thank you for all the information regarding fuel filter and thermostat... uuuuf... so many parts!! haha
I didn't know there was a second one... Not sure if so in my van.. will have to find that out...
@@_ReturnToFreedom ya I am sure there is not one in a van ..I was referring to an rv
Well hermana, don't stress out to much cus I think a lot of us go thru that stuff, except there's other things to worry bout, lol.
Oh, gotta love all that hair. Take care from Gonzales Louisiana
Hey there Eloy! Thanks for being here and sharing your wisdom ❤.
Hi, Sorry for your loss, If you have any emisson problems such as bad charcoal canister, valves (clogged or leaking) your ECU is going to let you know. You'll get a check engine light on your dash. As far the white smoke it looked like condesation to me. Good Luck!
@@awesomesocks444 thanks awesome socks. Ya, no engine light. 🤷♀️ definite signs that something is off… But I don’t know what… yet. Thanks for listening and commenting 🙏☮️
Freedom. Sorry about your dog.
Thank you Ms Dee
The white smoke is condensation, it will clear up when you drive the vehicle, it's nothing to worry about.
Thanks MLA... I thought also possibly running rich?... but i am just guessing.
hope it gets better love from florida
@@ademgashi1189 that’s sweet ❤️🙏. Thank you.
@@_ReturnToFreedom is there a way to help or contact ya
Ooooh thank you. At this point my only obstacle is the funds. Someone volunteered to help me get it checked out. I’ll have to look at setting up patreon too though. 👍 Thanks for asking.
13:35 after the fumes have fumed, is what i think u meant lol
Yeeeeees!!! Definitely! Thank you for that!!
Possible blown head gasket,( white smoke out exhaust) possible stuck thermostat hopefully that's it, if your engine temp gauge is running hot, its not fuel related, you should leave the fuel system alone, if it was fuel would be hard start but your car turns right over, so its not your fuel pump, you would rough idle if it was fuel you don't seem to have that either,
Thanks for your help Night Fangs. I hope to have some answers tomorrow after it visits a mechanic
It's always nice when everybody assumes you live in the real World paying through the nose for AAA coverage maximum insurance coverage and blah blah blah survival is about not paying much for everything you need really what you need is a boyfriend who's a good mechanic and lives the same lifestyle as you
Welllll.... You know?!?! It's tough for me to get the whole story out in every video... But thats ok. Thanks for being here!
Freedom. Please get your van checked out as quickly as you can. If you have triple A auto repair they give you 24 months guarantee on the work.
Well… I don’t have any cash flow… so that makes it a bit more difficult. But it’ll come!
Hola amor cómo estás reina soy de Uruguay te mando un beso
Hey Freedom. Why are you not ordering or making window coverings? You should not expose yourself to the world while sleeping in a van. You can also get your windows tinted from a professional shop. They are not expensive. Take your van to a mechanic to make sure the van is sound. Don’t run the van while any smoke fumes coming from your van.
Oooh,…. No no… I have made window coverings. I live in a house still. The van is just parked in the Cul-de-sac so when I go up to work on the van, and record a video… that feels “exposing” to me.
She doesn't have any money when are you going to start understanding that everything you talk about requires money you need to stop making stupid suggestions
@@glennbeadshaw727 hey there. I didn’t know she was without funds. Also, nothing I said was stupid.
