Hola Familia
This Nyc family went on a very last minute vacation to Isla Mujeres which is an Island off of Cancun on the Caribbean sea. Well not the whole fam, just my husband and I (So this is a couples travel vlog. Not a Nyc vlog or a Brooklyn vlog-- next time Okay!! haha) After much deliberation when it came down to where we were going, we landed on Cancun Mexico but Isla Mujeres. We wanted 100% chill and relaxing vibes and let me tell you it did not disappoint. We had so much fun! For starters we booked our round trip and Ferry transfer with Carm. We landed and went straight to the Ferry. Once we landed, our Airbnb was ready, which was nice. Since we were staying in Playa Norte and were near all the restaurants and nightlife, we didn't need a golf cart right away. We spent most of our time eating alot of tacos (we ate the street tacos almost everyday!) eating from the Mercado and loncherias, talking to locals, drinking tequila, a couple times we went to this local bar called la tablita, walked around on the malecon some mornings, laying in playa norte. We joined some of the dia de los muertos festivities. One day we did rent a golf cart in Isla mujeres and headed to Punta Sur to check out some of the Mayan ruins and to see the outside exhibit of sculptures (goddess ixchel). We then went to Albatross Beach club which had an all-inclusive price point. On our last day we spent the day in Guru Beach club which was right in front of hotel mia reef. The beach and water was gorgeous! We also did check out Tarzan becah club.
Let me tell you it felt incredible leaving NYC for a bit because this Nyc family definitely needed it. Mexico was great, slow living with amazing vibes.
Basically, it's just us living in Nyc as a city mom, raising a family in Nyc, wife life (a lil homemaker-ish).

Watching this on a rainy day in BK was such a treat. I think ya’ll passed my hood on the way to Coney 👀 And the trip looked so relaxing but I was side-eyeing whatever the lady poured ya’ll at the first beach club…like was that supposed to be a shot?! 😂

Is there room to park a golf cart at that AirB&B? We like to rent a golf cart for all week when we are there.
you can park it right out front, but no specific space
