Autumn is slowly coming and its signs are now everywhere! We have had the first rain and the leaves have started to turn yellow and orange. As Summer has passed by, I like to slowly prepare our home for my favourite season! As always, I keep things as simple yet as cozy as possible.

Today is the first day we've experienced autumnal weather since it's in the 60s here in south Ontario, Canada. It has been in the high 80s and low 90s for the last week. I welcome the cooler weather. Love your nod to autumn, Iris. 😊

oh how I look forward to autumn! 🧡 We had more than 30 degrees Celsius this week - all I want to slip into a cosy cardigan and enjoy a cup of tea after a long walk on a crisp morning, so guess I still have to hold out a bit 😉🍁
Thanks for the tip about refreshing mattresses with baking soda and essential oils! I will definitely give that a try. Christof and I are going on a short trip over the next weekend and want to do a deep clean of our apartment beforehand (it's so nice to return to a clean and tidy home after a holiday, isn't it?) and thanks to your video I'm now really motivated to do it 🤗🍂

I know that the weather will be a mixture of autumnal and summery days for still a while so I try to create this cozy atmosphere in my home at least. Hello Iris, I apologize for my absence, but I switched jobs, now working for HM Coastguards in a similar capacity. As always your videos are so calming, and this one depicting cleaning and decorating is beautiful. I should be doing the same! Sadly my youngest daughter Billie went to Geneva to work as an intern for a luxury watch manufacturer, and is earning a fine salary for learning. Apprenticing should be available for all countries. Είσαι απίστευτη! Δεν ήξερα οτι υπάρχει ελληνικό κανάλι με αυτή τη θεματική και χαίρομαι που το ανακάλυψα. Θέλω πολύ να πάω σε κάποια επαρχιακή περιοχή της Ελλάδας, αλλά έχω πολλά ερωτηματικά. Σε ποια πόλη βρίσκεσαι (αν επιτρέπεται) και θα την πρότεινες σε άλλα ζευγάρια; Το αγόρι μου θέλει επίσης να ζήσει σε μια επαρχιακή πόλη στην Ελλάδα και προσπαθούμε να βρούμε τρόπο να βγει κάπως αυτό.
Καταρχάς, ευχαριστώ πάααρα πολύ για το όμορφο σχόλιο! Εμείς ζούμε στα Γιάννενα, όχι κέντρο, προάστια. Μας βολεύει στο ότι έχουμε κοντά και την πόλη αλλά και τα χωριά για εξορμήσεις και εκδρομές. Αυτό που μου αρέσει είναι ότι έχω κοντά μαγαζιά και ό,τι χρειάζομαι για τα παιδιά (σουπερμάρκετ, γιατρούς, φροντιστήρια κτλ.) αλλά ζούμε στην ησυχία που δεν έχει η πόλη. Λόγω των παιδιών, δεν θα μπορούσα να ζω σε απομακρυσμένο χωριό αλλά θα θέλαμε να πάμε λίγο πιο έξω για να έχουμε και έναν μεγάλο κήπο, κάποια ζωάκια κτλ. Ελπίζω να σε κάλυψα λίγο και να καταφέρετε να πάτε σε επαρχιακή πόλη, είναι άλλη η ποιότητα ζωής κοντά στη φύση! 💕😊
