5th Gen Camaro HVAC Blend Door Replacement

- My 2012 Camaro is stuck on heat on the driver side. I suspect it’s the blend door under the steering wheel. In this video I try a hack in cutting into the side of the HVAC box that houses the blend door to replace it.

Does it matter which way the blend door is facing when it’s replaced ?, like on full ac mode or heater?

QUESTION: am in the process of doing this repair and have hit a snag. The shaft on the actuator motor won’t align with any position that I can adjust the newly installed blend door. It's just slightly off but enough where I can’t even re-bolt the piece on. I’m thinking I can reset with a 9V battery, but can’t find the pin assignment to test. (GM Part # 92215208/ACDelco Part # 15-74128) Any advice would be appreciated. Thank you for your videos!
PLEASE HELP!!!! What are you using to see the problem codes and force the car calibrate everything ? What every you used to clear the body control module mfault codes! Please help how do I buy one!

Curious if removing the rear seat bottom would help with room?
It's only held in by two clips and comes out very easily.

What was the a.c doing blowing hot air on the driver side or both side
Driver side get hot and passenger gets cold.
Do you have to use the scan tool?
not if you disconnect the battery.

I watched this to figure out how to take out the control module, HVAC tube, and actuator motor before getting to the cutting. Smh.
I don’t understand why they make to so fkn difficult to fix stuff like this that’s bound to break… it’s like they want it to be a pain
