To me it seems that the gamers8 event can get the most style out of the top players, like, everyone's still trying to show off to the world, but maybe don't have nearly as much pressure as in the rlcs, allowing them to go for crazier and more creative stuff, and I love that
Yes has nothing to do with the fact that there is 2s and 1s where people get more space. It’s all about no pressure since it’s not rlcs. Who cares about money too.

I feel like that this format from gamers8 gives so much more depth to rocket league tournaments. If you ask me the I would change it just a bit so that one player has to play 1s and the other two have to play the 2s game. For example Vitality: you can use Zen in 1s but then Radosin and Alpha have to play 2s. In that way everyone has to play another gamemode apart from 3s.
It would also bring a totally new aspect to the rosters. For example Mawkxy is a great 1s player. If you can’t get him to work with a great duo then he can play 1s, the duo can play 2s and if it works then 3s wouldn’t be such a problem.
