Good morning, sir. Do you have this video in english? My pdf is coming in as an image and tracing it is difficult as it gets blurry when I zoom in! :(

In this video I explained that there are two different types of PDFs we can create and import in AutoCAD.
One type is vector PDF and other one is raster PDF.
Vector PDFs are those which exported as a vector and stored as mathematical calculations in the PDF formate.
However, raster PDFs are generated from image which means there is no object stored in PDF. Basically, they are just image but stored in PDF format.
Moving to your question, I guess your PDF is raster PDF and generated from image so, it is not possible to import as a object. Sadly you have to draw all geometry in AutoCAD manually.

when the first time I imported the pdf file it opened and I changed the scale also and saved the Cad file. The next day when I opened the same Cad file the imported pdf was not there. it was showing only the viewport without an image. I have tried again & again the same pdf but now getting the message " No Image imported" this specific page or area of the pdf file contains no image" Please show how to fix this problem. thanks.

How solve pdf import problem in Auoto cad 2018 when we start import pdf as a dwg i have found on a screen prees F1 for help
Go to "Insert" tab > "PDF Underlay" > Select PDF > Click on open > Press OK button on pop up menu And your PDF is successfully Imported.

hello brother, how can i covert my PDF to a vector PDF so i can make changes with a drawing for example?
Sadly, in the preset situation AI is not that sufficient to convert raster PDF to Vector PDF. You have to convert it manually.
I have a pdf containing a raster topographic map and over which i want to draw. How should I do sir?
And also the same pdf some other person hve edited and I don't know who nad how edited. But while importing that the pdf it retains the editing part only. The raster topographic map doesn't get imported.
Please guide me either to draw over raster pdf file or to import the whole edited file containing topographic map.

Brother, which version of AutoCAD are you using?
If it is before 2018 may be the option is not there.
You need to upgrade version of that.
And other person is able to import and edit it because he/she may be using 2018 or later version of AutoCAD.

This happens because of PDF. PDF automatically generates reference points for objects.

If it is older than 2016, then PDF option is not available. So you have to update AutoCAD to latest version...

Brother, there is no way to import PDF made by any JPG or PNG. Gor that you have to have a vector pdf. Only vector PDF is import as a object. You can import a image and draw by references only.

Agar Vector form me hoti to as a object import hoti. Ab aapko reference se hi draw karna padega...

But how can I turn my normal pdf in to vector files?
Unfortunately, there is no such way to convrt raster PDF to vector file. You can use some websites which offer this service but either it is expensive or not working properly. There is a chance that we might get this feature in the next release of AutoCAD version.

if it is old version, it didn't come with import option.
To utilise import option, upgrade your AutoCAD version or use online websites who convert PDF to DWG file and use it
How to convert raster pdf to vector
Bro there is no such way to convert raster PDF to vector. The autocad still not capable to do that but would be in future.
You have to import PDF in autocad normally and manually draw all geometries.

Agar aap 2017 se old versions hai AtoCad me us me PDF import nahi ho sakta. Kyu ki wo software me option hi nahi hota.
Aapko PDF import karna hai to online google par search kijie bahot websites hai ho free mein convert kar degi. Warna aapka AutoCad ka version update kar lo 2017 or above.

Bro, If you use older version you have no integrated option to import PDF. So the solution is you have to upgrade your AutoCAD version.
Or You try some websites online but I am not recommend that way because they are not accurate and may be not secure.
