    Nice short review. My brother owns a M-F 1723EB & he loves it. I own a M-F 1526 it's a ( CUT ) it's a little bigger than 1725M but can also do more. I like any kind of M-F tractor; To me it means a Mighty-Fine tractor; I also own a 1959 M-F 50 gasoline both are work horses, & are used year round. They are reliable, & they make work allot easier.

    It would be neat if they made a midmount Flail mower

    Rubber sleeves/gaskets around all the fender mounted side controls would be nice. Can see mud, slush etc coming up through those gaps when moving at speed

    Thanks for sharing this wonderful video! I am considering buying a sub compact tractor. Can you share what made you buy Massey Ferguson instead of John Deere 1025R and Kubota BX2680?

      @PINEHILLOUTDOORS33  Před rokem +1

      I went with the Massey because I am familiar with them and they have always been very reliable. They are also built heavier than the others. The Massey is about 200 lbs heavier than JD and 150 lbs heavier than the Kubota. A lot more metal on the Massey’s which for a tractor, is what you want. You won’t regret the red colored one!

    Your PTO will last longer if you drop your RPM's a little before you engage the PTO.

    Do you still have the 1825e?

    1725 is better deal over 1723. Ditch the belly mower and get a 3pt finish mower or zero turn. Belly mower is awkward and always needs to be removed to run loader and snow plows. I'd ditch the backhoe too. They are always in the way and dont have enough reach or power for most jobs. If you ditch the backhoe you get a better seat and nicer onepiece roll bar.
    Tractors DO need front loader, 4 wheel and cat.1 3pt. You have a very nice tractor. Good engine and with a Curtis Cab(future accessory) you can modify it to suit you.

  • @arthura.applegatejr.7145

    Would have been nice to see under the hood. Is the engine a yanmar ❓. Is the hydraulic pump still on the front of the engine ❓

    • @PINEHILLOUTDOORS33
      @PINEHILLOUTDOORS33  Před rokem

      Yanmar is John Deere. Iseki is Massey. Pump should still be in rear of tractor where it’s filled/drained.

    Did you have a backhoe on your 1723E?

      @jimbo1jimbo174 Před 9 měsíci +1

      You can tell by his Rops he does not. I have the gc1723 be and I'm very happy with the backhoe.

  • @kdegraa
    @kdegraa Před rokem

    The tractor is actually an Iseki made in Japan.

    • @PINEHILLOUTDOORS33
      @PINEHILLOUTDOORS33  Před rokem +3

      That would be just the engine. Massey Ferguson is owned by AGCO. They are not based out of Japan.

    • @bjenkins803
      @bjenkins803 Před rokem +1

      Yes it is an Agco. I own one also without the deck but has a front end loader. Very strong tractor for its size and it runs a 5 foot brush cutter with no problem. Also a 5 foot tiller.

    • @tlm3574
      @tlm3574 Před 9 měsíci +1

      @@bjenkins803 Wow. I wondered if 5 bushhog and tiller would work on 1725. Do you have plenty of weight ballast?

    • @bjenkins803
      @bjenkins803 Před 9 měsíci

      @tlm3574 Yeah with the loader attached it's not a problem with ballest. I keep an old pasture knocked down with the brush cutter every couple weeks or so. I don't know about mowing down tall brush or small trees. I have an old Howse cutter. The tiller is new from tractor supply. The tractor does not bog down at all running it. It will pick it up without the loader also.

    Never by midmount mower they cant get between trees and you have to take mower off to change oil,also the arm rest are too low and cheap made.
