  • FOR ALL THE NAY SAYERS THAT CLAIMED WE ONLY GET BAD REACTIONS because we wear masks, I just proved it’s FALSE and that YOU’RE WRONG. 😑

      If you have spent your life living anywhere other than the West Coast, you have experienced freedom. I have lived in both California and Oregon and visited Washington. They are as close to socialism as you can get and still be in the United States. When I got the hell off of the West Coast I was overjoyed at finally being in what I considered America. The west coast is a cesspool of socialist communism

      I have never seen so many people that raise heck about cameras as they do in California. It’s the state of all the movies companies and all the Hollywood people. Movie stars etc. yet if they see anyone taking pics they fall to pieces like cookies crumbling. They attack people with cameras and yell and scream. Also one thing I laugh about is the restaurants can’t let anyone inside of the restaurant. They put them all out on the sidewalk - public sidewalk - then they all demand no one see them through the camera lens. They call the police if anyone looks at them. lol California is a really strange place. They have a beautiful state but they are all so grouchy about EVERYTHING! They call the police and cry to them like a little kid calls his mommy to cry to. It makes me never want to go there. I’ve been there. When my husband was alive he worked for a large aerospace company space company. He traveled there allot. We had the chance to move there. We declined. I’m so happy we did now.

      There’s a religious exception as well as a medical one. I’m not sure where they got that you had to have an actual “medical exemption” form as that’s not actually in the law, but Louisiana has a history of dirty politics and policing so they’re not wrong to assume some officer might try to use it to harass or even arrest them. Although the officers in the video didn’t seem bad.

    I am a Cajun from this area and on behalf of true south Louisianans, I apologize for the horrid lack of hospitality displayed by this establishment. Indeed, Louisiana enjoys renown for its food and friendly atmosphere; this “restaurant” is sorely lacking in both. Thanks to the officers for salvaging the day. BTW, Zea’s is wonderful.

    Lafayette and the surrounding area are. It pains me to see people act that way and lose their minds making false claims and everything. I was relieved to see the lady
    from just a few doors down (Sunday's, I believe) come out and engage with you and provide the proper sort of conversation the Lafayette area is known for. I would love

    It's funny you mention that cuk. There was a recent court case where police sat outside a man's house for months and filmed him without a warant. The courts ruled that it is legal.

      I remember that case. But it is different and shouldnt be legal (for cops to do that) because essentially they were sieging (stalking/blockading) a private dwelling, theyre using gov resources to do it (unlimited, they can exchange cops), and did they have a warrant?
      The 1A is for citizen's rights that are protected from the gov, the right of the citizens to monitor the gov and report about it. There is no 1A right for the gov to spy on people at their private house. 4A exists for a reason, gov needs to get permission to spy.

Not to mention you are secure in not identifying which if they use any facial recognition then that would be a violation to force you to identify. So many ways to challenge that rule.       14th: “No state shall make or enforce any law which shall abridge the privileges or immunities of citizens of the United States; nor shall any state deprive any person of life, liberty or property, without due process of law; nor deny to any person within its jurisdiction the equal protection of the laws.”
      Keywords are liberty (freedom) and equal protection. So the gov cant say people can wear a mask for religious reasons, but others cannot - that violates the 14th.
      I didn't read his link or research. But if their courts are going slow to strict it down, then that means their courts are corrupt. They need to face the real issue and it isnt masks, it's gov/news that encouraged looters that it's ok to steal.

      They can’t violate any of our rights but, we just let them chip away at our freedom. You cannot tell someone not to wear a mask the choice to do so is personal and there are way too many variables as to why someone would wear a mask and not all are for medical reasons.

      Actually they have great food, and it's one of my favorite places. Really disappointed that they acted this way - makes Lafayette LA look bad. Hopefully, this is a wake-up call for them. I'm not a fan of canceling them or anything, but they need to use this to be better.

      Everyone knows why Ukraine got $$ right? It was a money laundering country for Western countries (including the US).
      Thus US gave money so that it would be funneled back to the US for elections.

      Amendments dont give rights, they only label them for the gov to easier understand exactly what they cannot do.
      Thus any unnamed rights are protected by the 9th.
      But what you asked might be classified as the right to pursue happiness and liberty (freedom).
      The 14th codified the "Declaration of Independence’s promise of individual liberty, equality and the pursuit of happiness free of unnecessary government interference, including from state governments."

      Keywords are liberty (freedom) and equal protection. So the gov cant say people can wear a mask for religious reasons, but others cannot - that violates the 14th.

      if you lived in a small town you may be common with it...many officers come and go...they dont want a small town low paying job they want the big towns prolly closer to where they live/want to live.... the chief is there and voted in a few stay and there is always that new guy that sticks around for a few months and off to the big city force...they 1st work where needed to get experience and money while they wait for openings in better/goal areas

    My dad operated trains for the BNSF for a little over 40 years. He started working with BNSF soon after 18 when he kept showing up for their hiring calls back in the day. Now his enjoying his retirement.

    Life long Texan here and love the content. As far as TX construction vehicles, if they have red & blue they are police. Sometimes the reflection of the police vehicle lights over power others but actual reds & blues are police.

    Good video. Not all interactions have to be negative for me to enjoy the videos. I absolutely love seeing places I’m positive I will never see for myself in real life. It’s unfortunate they don’t turn some of those empty shops and businesses into areas for the homeless. We have two large schools in our town (former high schools) that were turned into small suites (bedroom and bath) for the homeless. Each school has approximately 60 units. These renovated schools house the homeless on a week to week basis. While they had some issues when they first opened, the kinks have worked out. And this has really alleviated the homelessness in our community. Two towns close by are in the process of renovating an old factory and an elementary school they no longer use for the homeless too. While it is NOT A PERMANENT tenancy for the homeless, it is definitely giving them a warm, safe shelter for the short term. It’s a model cities and towns might consider- especially if there are empty building taking up unmarketable real estate. 😉

    Connecticut patrol vehicles have a solid blue light on the roof light bar all the time.
