I never have understand this meme. A card go to the graveyard if it's used if it is not a monster or a continious spell/trap, greed is simple as "draw two cards". Plus for the card game it is konami who make the rule and edit the cards, so no they all play like it does it the anime, since it is not konami but Takahashi who write it so not the same effect than the real card game.
It's actually not terrible, just inconsistent. You can absolutely lose to it if you have a combo deck and they manage to chain energy last turn. It can get you!
actually back in the day, it was REALLY good because people weren't special summoning from the extra deck 100000000 times. All they have to do is add the extra deck to the burn and it INSTANTLY becomes good and shuts down the meta. People would get mad about that? Too F'in bad, 100000 summons a turn shouldn't have been allowed anyway.

If he does he will just be invincible, but he can't so he just take one of the best archetype of the beginning of the anime, so the toon.
