O-H-I-O Porter greetings!🇺🇸 Now that’s what I’m talking about…Being given permission to drive any truck you want..Just get in & GO! 🤩 Those Generals are so cool! I like the old A model KWs as well. I was shocked that you didn’t want to drive the auto General. Don’t knock the automatics. They do have their place. I love the 7,9,13,18 speeds & I was so shocked when I drove a cabover Pete with an automatic! We drove it to Colorado & back to WV. What a wonderful trip! 🥰 I think it had 3:55 rears & would pull a box really well. I do remember the General you drove with him. You seemed to have such fun driving it. Did he ever sell it? Hey, I did notice that you didn’t want to drive the General because it was starting to rain…That shows RESPECT! See how at 5 minutes in he opens the driver's door so we can swing the mirror out to look behind him instead of stretching his neck around like he have to do in the new trucks

Great video! Weren’t the design and layout of the dashboards in the 359s based on the cockpit of old planes? Someone told me that once and I can see the similarities.

Why didn't you latch up the hood latches??? they were unlatched!!! The 359's are my favorite of Peterbilts! I drove the baby blue one in my profile picture for over 8 yrs. It is a 1985! What year is this red one??? Thanks for sharing this video!!!

Love the old 359. I had a 1985 with B model Cat and a 13 speed. Sweet ride. The hood latch’s weren’t fastened down there driver on that red one you drove.
