I haven’t been a subscriber long but Luke is so knowledgeable about fashion and it’s nice to see creators in their own lane making unique content and getting recognized for it. Also, the white shirt Luke has on is giving everythinggggg.
I have to say something. You popped up on my feed because I am a costume designer and I thought you were going to be another “reaction” channel. But the Met Ball deserves that treatment so I clicked because… duh… read them to filth. But you are so knowledgeable, but also still thirsty for knowledge. You do the work to know how a bold ugly garment has arrived and what the designer might be exploring. Even if it’s unsuccessful in that particular iteration, there is some element of construction, or new material that will lead to something truly special. And even when you don’t like something, you acknowledge that the designer is pushing the boundaries of some aspect and it is a design choice. You just hate its current state of development. But you do the work to know the history of that designer, the fashion house they work for, the designer who came before them, and the previous fashion brands the designer has worked for. I am so happy you got to have this experience. But I am also happy that Gucci knows that you are not fashion critic, but a fashion analyst. I really cant thank you enough for how much you have raised the bar for red carpet reaction videos. I hope it brings you access to more awesome designers and keeps you paid enough so you don’t end up on some television gossip show so you don’t have to dumb it down. Congrats. Rant over. I just wanted to say that for years and this video just sent me. Namaste.

The Gucci vault pop up was so friggin cool, and I'm glad you let us see what you did, but I'll be honest, my favorite part was watching the sparkle in your eyes looking at everything. alessandro michele has done such a good job of modernizing gucci. i feel like for a very long time, younger ppl (like me lol) had a very "aged" perception of gucci. it also had a bad reputation for a while because of the ubiquity of the gucci logo (the belt, the t shirt, the backpack). now, it's so youthful, exciting, and unique, despite being one of the most popular houses of fashion in the world. i'll admit that i used to have something against gucci for some reason, and now i absolutely adore it. i feel like alessandro can speak to all generations' styles. your grandma wears gucci, and so does kylie jenners daughter. it's cool, it's chic, and it's fun.
