And when they are together once again the look he has on his face facing his beautiful wife is so grateful and loving. And then when the son comes to be hugged by his father is such a pleasure to see them reunited . So great and wonderful is this scene so wonderful . Its a great end for this marvelous drama .🤗🤗

Still loving this perfect ending years later. This Xiangxia actually took time to give a good satisfying ending to the love story. UNLIKE THREE MILES and LOVE AND DESTINY and LOVE BETWEEN DEVIL AND FAIRY with their crappy one minute "Hi honey I'm home! The end." BS.
I learned a few of these actors aren’t the ones talking they have a different person for some of the voices and it makes so much sense now. Some of the lips always looked off in these kinda series.

She even gave up on him earlier, but then he got interested.... and yeah we got the happy ending♡ but during all the story she has to endure lots of things because of her no-reciprocated love. She waited for him for too long, she was willing to believe any reason he would give her. But the dude literally didn't show up xD and chose to not tell ehr the truth about Lou Miao (I think thay was the antagonist's name). So she misunderstood him...

When Dong Hua asked not once and even not twice “What do you want to do with the pimpon fruit?” She could tell him the truth, at least for the mortal realm. At that time it was already clear for everyone that Dong Hua can simply die of jealousy when she talks about Yan Chiwu. It was after the famous dinner. But what she did, she told him that she will probably make cake for Yan Chiwu. The same thing when he came in her room to take care of her after the hard training. When he asked "How do you know that I have always cut in my hands". If she told him then "Actually , I'm the little fox you raised then.", all the drama with the pimpon fruit could be avoided. Yes Dong Hua didn't tell her about Miao Luo....but she is the one he married. I mean, for someone like Dong Hua, it's not a simple act. He is not a playboy, he was single millions years. Dong Hua has learned to tame his jealousy, but Fenghui has not learned to trust him. The proof, even though she was dying and knowing that he was dying, she didn't think it was necessary to tell him that they had a son. Dong Hua was silent to protect her, what excuse does she have?
