One of messi's most underrated seasons ever. He deserved a treble that season for such freakish performances. He was so explosive with his dribbling, it seems like he had a spring in his legs.
People only remember Barca’s champions league exit. Even tho they got embarrassed in the SF Messi had carried up to that point, in Messi fashion. He dropped iconic performances in UCL Ro16 and QF inspiring a comeback down 2-0 and coming off the bench while literally INJURED to save Barca in UCL, can’t make this up the guy is literally a cartoon. So many iconic moments this season in La Liga too. His prime wasn’t from 08/09 to 11/12, it was 08/09 to 12/13 then 13/14 was his first “bad” season at the time.
