  • How to make Pineapple Chiffon Cake, pillowy soft and cloud like texture. This chiffon recipe is fail proof and you can bake like a pro at home. Just follow my tips and tricks shown in the video.
    Here's what you'll need:
    5 egg yolks.
    1/4 cup sugar (50g)
    1/4 cup oil (60ml)
    1/3 cup pineapple juice (75ml)
    1/2 tsp vanilla (3ml)
    1 cup cake flour (100g) spooned & leveled
    1 tsp baking powder (5g)
    1/4 tsp salt (2g)
    5 egg whites
    1 tsp lemon juice (5ml)
    1/2 cup sugar (100g)

    Tried so many recipes of mamon/chiffon and by far this is the best. So soft fluffy ,pillowy and MASARAP hindi sya amoy eggy like other recipes and i dont want that in my chiffon. Thank you for sharing.

    hi I made this just last Sunday and I should say it was a success!! I failed many times in baking chiffon cakes but this recipe never failed me!! it was soft, pillowy, and the texture is so beautiful! even after three days in the ref its still soft and fluffy!! I just put some pineapples and cherries at the bottom of the pan to make it an upside down pineapple Chiffon cake and it was so delicious! From now on this will be my go-to cake recipe!! thank you for sharing!!

    This was spongy and soft but it did have a strong smell of eggs. It also has a slight pineapple flavor. It's still good but I'm going to try making this again. This time I'm going to reduce the pineapple juice. Crossing fingers it won't mess with the sponges consistency but we shall see, lol. I'll come back to let you know how it went... 😉
    EDIT... I made it again yesterday. I reduced 1 cup of the pineapple juice down to the ¹/³ cup needed. It worked!! Another bonus? The strong smell of eggs wasn't present. Hope this helps anyone who plans to make it. Good luck and happy baking... 😋

    Tried this the first time and it came out super amazing.
    ang bango ng pineapple. super fluffy po tlga.
    baking tray ginamit ko kasi wla akong chiffon tray,, ok na sana.
    kaso di ko nalagyan parchment paper kasi naubusan ako, yun, nahirapan akong tanggalin, kahit medyo malamig na.
    pero the best ang chiffon cake.

    How you prevent the top from cracking?
    May I ask:
    1. did u use aluminium foil to cover the top for the first few minutes?
    2. Use Water bath to bake?

    This looks like Angel food cake but I think that's made with just egg whites? For that cake you're also told to invert the cake pan using a bottle of some sort to place into the hole. That keeps it from deflating. Great timing with this video. I'm about to make a pineapple curd and will most definitely have the amount of juice needed for this recipe.       It is similar to angel cake. I've made pandan chiffon cake using similar technique. You're right you have to imvert the cake upside down until it's cool down before taking it out of the pan otherwise the cake would collapse while it's cooling

      @@littlemidget4764 Just wondering if you made this yet? I did. It came out soft and spongy. There were 2 tiny problems though. It had a strong smell of eggs and the pineapple flavor isn't strong at all. I can't seem to find any pineapple essence in store either. But I got to thinking. When I make my pineapple curd I reduce the juice down so it's potent. I'm going to do that and make it again. I just hope it doesn't mess with the consistency of the sponge since the reduced juice is more like a syrup. We shall see, lol. Just wanted to give you a heads up on the chance you hadn't made it yet. Good luck. Happy baking... 😉

I always put a little vanilla whatever flavour I'm baking because I believe it takes the smell of eggs off. Let me know if the pineapple curd work better please. I made the pandan cake this style and it's so yummy soft and airy

When you replied to the person above you said you used pineapple juice from a packet. Here in the States it comes in liquid form. Would I use the same amount? Since I'm using 5 eggs I really don't want to mess this one up, lol. Please answer as soon as possible...

      Take out 2 tablespoon All purpose flour from 1 cup, then replace with 2 tablespoon corn starch.

    Sinusunod kopo lahat ng ingredients. Pero pansin ko.po dry ung gawa ko until po ng mga dough nyo. Dahil po ba ito sa harina??parang pansin kopo kasi iba ung harina na gamit ko.
