Watching videos of stores that charge 17 for celebrations makes me greatful for my local card store
I was selling them for $4, I should've stood outside that store and sold them for $10 đ€Łđ€Ł, Supporting Small Local businesses sounds nice but getting ripped off does not lol
@@carlit0s2814 Just bought a Pokemon Celebrations Pikachu Vmax Premium Figure Collection box for $90 after tax from Walmart (Canada). It has 8 celebrations packs in it. Very pricey indeed.

The super expensive place makes a mint selling stuff to rich kids who donât care about wasting some extra money. Itâs really shitty that they mark up everything to double the prices when they buy it below market value anyways. I ripped off the guy on some Funkos because heâs a massive scalper

Oh my gosh. This was so nice to see. Visiting a lesser known place and then showing us. I love OCNJ. Crazy thing is that surf movie theater use to sell the old school beanie babies you could get as a collector before pokemon. This brings back memories. Love it.

I've wondered what to do with my extra commons and uncommon since we can mostly agree they're not worth much, and I think it would be great if the pokemon tcg community got together and handed them out along with candy on Halloween, like mini blind packs. It would introduce new kids to pokemon and grow demand.

That first store looks like a very lovely store! The second looks like a store that is simular to a store here, very very overpriced! Sylveon box for 100?? 17 for a single booster of celebrations?? What a scalper.... not cool!
& the first store was any better? 6.99 for Chilling Reign? Lmao 8.99 for Vivid Voltage? Almost 3x the going rate online... They are price gouging as well. No one local will shop here beides a youtube that makes millions annually, its for tourist only.
Both should be ashamed and both are prime examples why most garbage tier mom & pops store close, and why the smart ones stay open all these years... You don't have to match amazon, or match prices online to get local business, but at least be Competitive. Its okay to be a dollar up + tax etc... but 2x and 3x the going rate? Straight trash. These businesses definitely didn't deserve this attention besides the very last store, Mike's. The first ones were utter shite.

this reminds me of when i used to frequently visit a local card/comics store nearby and buy some packs, i would always have some great luck with them. but ever since prices raised quite a bit at local card stores, i haven't really been able to buy from them at all. glad to see you got some great pulls.

I love how even though the prices are expensive you still wanted to support them. I went to this store the other day where normall sword and shield era blister packs were 12$ each and 4 pack boxes were 40$, all etbs 90 and so on. And all were recent products. Thanks for a great video

So I live in Japan and went to Akihabara street in Tokyo and found this small card shop. It had so many good things, from Neo Genesis Japanese Booster Packs, the Mario Collaboration Box ( very sad I didn't have the money to buy it đąđą ), vintage Japanese cards and so much more. Definitely a place to go. It was owned by this old man and it seemed like only he ran it.
I know it's a far trip but I think it was worth mentioning.
Another one is E and J boutique that has nerd stuff all throughout the store in Brooklyn I got some 25th anniversary Japanese packs of pokemon from there and got really nice pulls

Rev!! This Weekend, Wildwood Convention center is doing Sports Card, Comics and other Collectibles, great place to find heavy packs on the lower price!!!
We have a store here in Florida thatâs like a third of that size, literally like 3-4 people can be in there at a time, itâs like a shed but itâs filled with mostly PokĂ©mon but other kinds of trading cards as well. Itâs really cool only open on weekends
Zapp Comics in NJ usually has a good stock of newer packs and has older packs as well. Sometimes they even carry vintage boxes and packs. đ€đŒ
the first store was so tiny, but had enough stuff to be a store, in my opinion, the best of all these.

Small businesses are often underrated and have really good products, we just don't notice them, so it's always a great thing to support small businesses to help them grow and become known to other people.
Hate that the prices are so high but nice to see you supporting the small businesses and showing appreciation for the fans
Hey rev local card shop named heroes sports cards have great cards and packs but far away in Chicago!
Come down to florida and check out the shops here. There are a good amount of cards shops in the Orlando area.

You should visit âthatâs Entertainment â In Worcester Massachusetts. Found a legendary collection Charizard and the southern islands collection in the original box & binder. Bunch of good stuff there!!!
Highly recommend Trainer J's in Arkansas really love going there and just an overall awesome place to hangout. They have trade nights and the last one was insane.

Hey Rev, Iknow itâs far from you but you should come to St. Louis. There is a card shop called Yeti Gaming. Awesome shop with a great variety of sets and collection boxes. A bunch of booster boxes and etc for a good price. The staff is awesome! Definitely recommend!
There's a cool place in Fremont CA called Chris's Comics that I go to a lot. I love it how many pokemon products they have.
