So before Panga started that troll level it had 49 attempts with no clears and after he cleared it, it was at 118 attempts with 1 clear and the footprints only increased by one, so all the additional attempts are from Panga, therefore it took Panga a total of 69 tries to beat it. Nice.

I really felt the disappointment when he realized the kaizo level remake had a dev route, what a shame they betrayed his nostalgia :(
This is why if you make a dev route you should slow yourself down beating it so it's not so obvious lol.

The reason you have to redo the whole thing from cp1->cp2->back to cp1 part is because everything was stolen troll setups and the creator wasn't clever enough to put in something like a red coin under cp1 setup to turn it into a real cp3.
Did the original have cp3?
Maybe that's why I swear I've seen Carl play a level almost like this one before (similar rooms but not entirely copied)

Why does the cheese at 8:39 not work? Wouldn't all the spike blocks be turned off as a result? Sure, the shell wouldn't jump up from the mushroom trampoline thing and thus not kill the pokies, but it doesn't matter as you can just stand on the spikes, right?
Edit: Oh I see, the top mushroom platforms make the pokies jump up on top and block the way. I thought those were semi-solids...
You did good by not liking the troll level, I'm pretty sure a lot of those setups were stolen.
The troll level was stolen from a troll level called, “NO.” Carl played it sometime back.

8:17 You can totally cheese this! Use the bomb to kill the pokeys, get in the block. Next part is spike free because you didn't activated the on/off!
the spiny won’t bounce on the mushroom platform and kill the pokeys if the on/off state isn’t swapped so you can’t progress without it, that’s why the cheese doesn’t work. the pokeys are too tall to twirl over as well

i have never welcomed coconut mall as much as this time T_T This level was draaaagging even in an edited video. It was worse because you sit there knowing that the creator doesn't even deserve the time of day because it was stolen from soupbowl
Just played this troll level (I save these videos to watch after I play them). Totally agree with almost everything you said about the level. But, while it was still complicated, there actually was no reason to re-enter that pipe - you CAN ground pound with the shoe even with the block hit. Just go left to avoid the fish, then you have just enough vertical space to pound.

I think half part of this level was played by DGR before, then I found this maker combine lots of part in different troll level. Checkpoint part and spring part are from SoupBowl level named "No" and DGR uploaded video in 09/01/2020. I didn't find boots part and gomba with bill blaster part, and the original one is better than his remake. I think he can improve his combinaion.

Panga there's the cheese in 9:31 that you talked about is actually even better, cos then since the states didn't get swapped you could ignore the spikes in te second part as they don't exist
Nah that is what I thought too, but look at the mushroom trampolines. If the state is not swapped the shell won't bounce up and kill the pokies, instead they will bounce up as their mushroom platforms are activated now and block the way. Therefore, they are too high to jump over, preventing the cheese.

Going off of the new place (sorry Panga, those curtains are hideous!), this seems like the future timeline, so I'm pretty sure they haven't been uploaded yet. The most recent troll levels I can remember him playing were over a month ago.

I think that troll level did a great job of being entertaining to watch… I can’t say if it was fun to play. But in terms of watching you play it…. It was one of the best troll levels I have ever seen.
For him checking the level completely and realizing it's a troll level gets sort of am ideal for it and still gets hit by every troll is impressive

@@Your_Degenerate I usually prefer watching dgr play troll levels because I feel like Carl gives off like a manufactured sense of masochism which I just find kind of weird but that is just my preference

I love putting dev routes in my levels
The secret is to make the dev route easier but more time consuming
One time I made this hard as hell bullet bill bounce level, it had a dev route that made you play five nights at Freddie’s with a bunch of buzzy beetles LMAO
Edit: I also went out of my way to make sure my dev route was obvious. Where you got the key for the route wasn’t obvious but at least if you see the locked door you know there’s a key

I probably missed something obvious but why couldn't he just make both pow switches pop up at the same time but instead made one go up at a time?
You can only pick them up from the side and if both go up you can't reach them from the side.
