@BassVentura my V10 M6 is stage 2 tuned, derestricted and good for 200mph. Agree it's only worth £16,000 or so, but I bought it cash, no finance. I would prefer a M6 V8 because they have maybe, 200 more horses, but I can't afford one. I am only triggered over your comment that it's a crock of shit. For this working class boy, it's a lot of horsepower for relatively little money. Bikewise? I have a GSXR1000 and a 'blade btw. Peace.

Went with a e92 instead, couldn’t complain. Still look up to the legendary boss e60 but can’t handle the stress of a ticking time bomb
Sababa Hummus do you understand that the s85 has a different high pressure SMG that’s unreliable and unproper manual gear ratios with the 6 speed Manual. An extra 2 cylinders can make a huge difference too, less rod bearings to replace🤷🏻♂️
Idunno, it doesn’t really upset me that she’s high maintenance. I just dropped $1,400 to replace a sensor for the transmission on mine, and I’m not complaining. If you want supercar (well, 2000’s supercar) performance and technology, you’re going to pay supercar prices for maintenance. It’s worth it to me.

I had one of these a few years back, they have unreal top end power BUT unfortunately this cars has way more cons then pros and don't actually feel that fast compared to the newer turbo charged M cars.. You really have to ring it's neck like the E90 V8 you find yourself always in either 1st or 2nd gear a lot
It's bad, as are all of the supercars... a bugatti veyron on a full tank can only do top speed for about 12 minutes. Then it's out of gas. But with these car it's not miles per gallon... it's smiles per mile.

Because of the comparable slower acceleration to modern turbocharged cars you need more space to reach this speed area...but it is possible as you can see 👍🏽 maybe you will have like 345-350 on the speedo at the end, on GPS it will be about 325-330 approximately
The car reached 7400 rpm in 7th gear. That is precisely 196 mph going off the gear ratios calculations taking into account the 285/35ZR19 rear tires and 3.62:1 rear end. Would've had to be over 7500 rpm to be 200 mph.
Guybrush Threepwood well then thats stupid, u pay 2-3 thousand dollars for a mechanic to essentially rip apart your engine just to tell you weather it needs replacement, u might as well pay him to replace them at that point... There are horror stories on the S85 and S63 engines having spun bearings and internal engine detonation due to rod bearing wear, its not a maintenance issue, it is a DESIGN FLAW.
