Thanks a lot Reza! I always learn something new & tricky from your videos.
Your videos are always very helpful and are the reason that I have been able to develop a working app for my team.
I have almost similar scenario for which I am developing an App but looks like I am missing something and not able to move forward.
    Here is the scenario :
We have #50 customers and #25 Tools and multiple implementation state for each tool.
For each customer we want to know the status of every tool. Example,
For customer A, Tool-1 is implemented but
Tool-2 is in POC state whereas
    Tool-3 - POC Cancelled.
So this way, For each customer, we will have #25 entries (#25 tools) and every entry will capture implementation status of respective tool for that customer.
That means, total 50*25 = 1250 entries which will be stored in either sharepoint or excel or dataverse for teams.
I want to build a Power App using which I can retrieve data from datasource-->Filter data for each customer so on a single page I am able to see tool name & implementation status of all the tools for Customer A ---> Edit those records and then save back to the datasource.
Your guidance on this will be helpful.

Reza, quick follow up question if I may. When you do a lookup column it gives you the value that is in the primary name colmn in the table you are looking up. Thats ok but what if that table were a user table where names are not unique, if I give it an autonumber as the primary name column it then makes it impossible to know which record I am looking up. I have tried to change the display in a drop down to show the name rather than the ID but no luck. Is there a way around this or is it just one of those things?? Many thanks in advance

Hi Reza, another great video. I have watched and learnt from many of your videos, and implemented what I have learnt. The next step on my journey is into Dataverse for Teams. I am looking to create an asset management tool where I can assign users to particular assets, such as laptops or phones. However, I need to be able to record the assignment history. So I can check who has been assigned a particular device since it's purchase, or what devices have been assigned a particular user since they joined us.
Do you have a video or guidance on how to create such a history log table in Dataverse?
Thanks... and looking forward to the next videos :)

Not sure what I am missing or if I am using too much Excel brain. I would like to create a lookup eg from a product table to an order table. When I select the product it will populate the order. How do I get it to bring over the price from the product table though? I can calculate the totals in the order using a calculated column, but I cannot seem to "call" the price value based on the product selected as an additional column.

Hi again Reza... Another question. I have a gallery that I would like to filter (without using startswith). The gallery uses a dataverse table but the fields I would like to search are linked via relationships. ie the product is from a lookup and the description comes from that relationship. The fields show in the gallery as subsets of the InventoryProduct record. If I build a filter as Filter(INVENTORYTABLE,StartsWith(InventoryProduct.'Product Code',TextInput3.Text)||StartsWith(InventoryProduct.'Product Description',TextInput3.Text)), then it works, however I want to be able to search for characters anywhere in the fields instead of the start. I think that "SEARCH" is what I need as removing "startswith" breaks the filter function. However search doesn't show the "Description" field as its not present in the "InventoryProduct" table. (Perhaps I need to bring in that data somehow so that it exists in the inventory table although this seems like superfluous data)

    • @RezaDorrani

I believe your findings are right. Search function is limited in terms of column types. I have not tried this scenario though.

I'm trying to move over everything to dataverse. I think I'm getting it...somewhat. If I wanted to go create a view to show all of the Actions related to the selected task, how would the view know which fields were related?

Hi Reza, I'm planning out how to build an end-to-end job management system for a client. Initially it will need to handle purchase-and-resale of IT hardware stock. I'm not sure whether to build this upon Dataverse in Teams, Dataverse, Azure SQL database or Azure Data Studio.
The first use (stock resale) will be used by only one person (in one team in Teams) but if it is built out to a full Job Management system then this will have users in multiple Teams. Does this affect the choice of data storage?

Reza, I cannot create a table from a Dataverse table like users and change the name to Project. It then takes over the name of the original Dataverse table called users. Also, I do not have the same UI you have. Dataverse is no longer even listed in Power apps. Does this training have to be updated? I thought it might be because I had the Admin Center settings changed to the Solution options and turned those off but It stayed the same which is probably my version is later than the one you used for the video.

Hi Reza, I'm trying to acomplish the many to many behavior in an app.
I have created a "Projects" form. Added a custom datacard with a combobox of "Team Members"
On the "onSuccess" event of the form, I'm trying to loop "forAll" CmbTeamMembers.Selected and for each one relate to the Project.
In summary is the same situation you are doing in this video but trying to do everything in one step in the creation of the Project.
Here comes the tricky part. When I create a New Project ("NewForm"), It does not work (no team member association), no matter what. When I select the "created" project with empty team members, edit and save ( run the same code again in the onSuccess)... works like charm.
