in the get you alone mv he was actually playing two characters; “the love coach” that has the tv show and “nerdy” one who got rejected at the beginning, so he was basically teaching himself how to have game lmaooo. The concept alone is adorable and when i was watching your reaction on patreon and you mentioned how it feels like there should be a disco ball and stuff i laughed so hard because wow the irony lol
His Japanese album was such a surprise hit for me. Drown was my favorite song of 2021
Privacy is one of my all time favorite Baekhyun songs. it’s incredibly underrated but it’s so special. it’s so interesting cuz it’s like this really classy jazzy piano BUT mixed with these modern synth sounds in the chorus and it works soooo well together. i love that you also “understood” the song in that sense
I never get tired of watching "Get You Alone" because it's such a great example of Baekhyun's acting abilities and impeccable comedic timing. He tells a whole story with just gesture and facial expression and he is so smart and funny in that video.
Baekhyun is such a natural leader and I really think part of the reason SuperM is so comfortable and so fun is because of him and Kai and Taemin making it that way. Baekhyun was just himself and also looked after everyone so well. Kai didn't take him too seriously and teased him right back as they always do which made everything so relaxed. (It almost reminded me of how Taeyong and Doyoung upped their natural "bickering" and teasing during NCT2020 to break the ice and make sure people were laughing and having fun. I wonder how much of that was because Taeyong was just coming off of months of working a lot with SuperM for SuperOne album and he said he learned a lot from Baekhyun about being a leader.) Taemin was laughing all the time and also quietly being so caring. They all did such a great job of creating a welcoming and comfortable atmosphere so everyone could really become friends and have a great time together.

This guy is amazing!!! I too did not expect the low register on the 1st song but with his talent he can do anything! I know what you mean with the piano although I really liked it. It was like watching a ballerina on point but dancing to jazz, it works but not what you would expect lol

This is it.. this is exactly it.. why he’s my only and Ultimate bias in the whole entire world. His genius mind, his voice, his vocal abilities, his ethereal face and body, his amazing moves, his amazing personality, his humour, his playfulness, his chaotic/mischievous/naughty nature, his laughs, his giggles, his smiles, he being himself, he being real always.. these are all the qualities that made him the love of my life. I love and respect this man so much. He’s my inspiration, my strength, my weakness, my happiness, my safe place, my home. He changed my life. He saved me in all the possible ways a person could be saved. He’s the reason I wanna work hard, be better everyday. He gives me purpose and I’m eternally grateful to him for everything. I love him so much I don’t have enough words to describe how much he mean to me, how important, how necessary he is in my life. Words are not enough tbh to describe my feelings and respect and love for him. He’s one of the most precious people in my life. I miss him so much it hurts. I love him a lil too much.

Bigbang reactions and now BAEK??? THE TASTE that's it, you are the BEST. For me Baek is one of the few idols that has found his Sound and makes it WORK he doesn't need to explore or experiment different generes, he knows what suits him and with his technique and godly vocals, well damn, he can make almost anything sound like heaven

That's why it's difficult to put both Baekhyun and Taemin together in the same group - those two are notorious for spoilers! And they look so "innocent" in the act and the other members (doesn't matter which group, Super M/EXO/SHINee) are going crazy, like what's going to happen? RJ, thank you for this reaction! Like you, I've heard the songs and imagined the "setting" as I listened. I'm not always spot on, but I love watching how he stages his story in each song.
Also, with his Japanese album, it caters more to the jpop world in the same way that CBX does their Japanese songs.
I loved the piano as well. It was a jazzy piano in an R&B song. His vocals completed the art of the sound to make a masterpiece.
